When you compare it to last week, Scotland were in command at this point. Their angles of running were good and they were competing up front. We've only seen glimpses of that tonight- when Scotland got their two tries.

They’ve been poor. There are too many unforced errors. Georgia are only defending the front pod and we still throw there?! We should be throwing to the back.

  5. Half-time- Scotland 10-9 Georgiapublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 6 September 2019

A mistake from Adam Hastings and that's that for the first 40. Two brilliant tries by Scotland but also so many basic errors. Some silly penalties have allowed Georgia into the match.

    Scotland 10-9 Georgia

This is infuriating to watch. It's kind of Scotland in a nutshell. Helter-skelter rugby followed by a knock-on. Georgia have the scrum just inside their own half.

    Scotland 10-9 Georgia

Ooft, it's Adam Hastings to the rescue. He intercepts Soso Matiashvili's offload after the Georgia full-back broke the line close to the Scotland whitewash.

    Scotland 10-9 Georgia

Zander Fagerson is getting 10 minutes in the bin here after some perceived indiscretions at the scrum. As a result Blade Thomson has to go off, Simon Berghan comes into the front row. Georgia prop Nariashvili is also in the bin for the same reason.

That’s ridiculous, for me, players should know that at this level you can not be in front of the kicker - players should know better.

  11. Penalty- Scotland 10-9 Georgiapublished at 29 mins

    Tedo Abzhandadze

And another. Offisde from a clearing kick this time. Scotland are gifting Georgia a way back into this.

  12. Replacementpublished at 27 mins

    Scotland 10-6 Georgia

Chris Harris is on for Blair Kinghorn, who looks to have taken a dunt to the head.

  13. Penalty- Scotland 10-6 Georgiapublished at 25 mins

And...another penalty is given away in front of the posts. Jamie Ritchie this time is pinged or not rolling away. This ill-discipline is a cause for a bit of concern. Tedo Abzhandadze makes no mistake once more.

That’s what you want, forwards running on at pace. That was a good try, Darcy Graham with the offload to Kinghorn.

  15. try

Try- Scotland 10-3 Georgiapublished at 22 mins

    Blair Kinghorn

Another well-worked score. It started with Adam Hastings ghosting through the Georgia defence after taking a kick. He offloaded to Scott Cummings, and, after another few carries from the big men, Hastings dinks a kick out to Darcy Graham on the wing, who passes to Kinghorn inside to score.

No conversion from Hastings, but he made that score.

  16. Penalty- Scotland 5-3 Georgiapublished at 19 mins

    Tedo Abzhandadze

That's poor. Scotland are caught offside from a kick as Gordon Reid picks up the ball when he shouldn't have. Tedo Abzhandadze knocks over a penalty to instantly reply for Georgia.

  17. try

Try- Scotland 5-0 Georgiapublished at 16 mins

    Ali Price

    Scintillating.

It starts with Blair Kinghorn who carries forward up to halfway, draws two men and passes to Darcy Graham. The diminutive Edinburgh winger charges up the wing, offloads to Duncan Taylor who in turn finds Ali Price to fall over the line.

It came from nothing, but Scotland won't care. Adam Hastings misses the extras.

  18. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Georgia

There's serious ill-discipline from both sides so far. Georgia get a penalty but before too long give one up themselves. Adam Hastings hoists a Garry Owen into the heavens...and Mirian Modebadze takes well.

Really good handling to start with, Kinghorn with the break. That was an opportunity missed by Scotland

  20. Seymour's white-line feverpublished at 12 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Georgia

Oh dear. Tommy Seymour has just butchered what should have been a simple score. Blair Kinghorn scythes through a gap and puts the ball into the hands of the Glasgow wing. Seymour gathers, then somehow lets it go about a metre from the line. Inexplicable.
