It's good defence by Georgia. Modebadze did brilliantly. Wales get in to a bit of an arm wrestle and Georgia look very comfortable, even down to 14 men.

He dives forward to take Dan Biggar's chip on the full, but he just spills it short of the line.

Could this be a penalty try?

Typical Georgian try - catch, drive, unstoppable rolling maul. The Georgian and Japanese fans here stand and applaud. That Graham Rowntree team-talk seems to have done something!

The couldn't mount a serious comeback, could they? There's still plenty of time...

Former Wales international on BBC Radio 5 Live

Very impressive. Wales wanted to make a big impact straight away and they absolutely did.

We've carried a lot of confidence in from the Six Nations with our defence and there's been a lot of creativity today.

Admittedly, the Georgian defence has been poor, lots of schoolboy errors, but Wales are exposing them.

Forwards coach Robin McBryde said in the build-up to this game that there had been a sense of Wales' players "circling the wagons" after a disruptive week which saw backs coach Rob Howley sent home for an alleged breach of betting regulations.

Well, the players certainly seemed fired up during that half. Pretty much an ideal first 40 minutes for Warren Gatland.

How soon before he brings off the big guns and wraps them up in cotton wool? Wales play Australia on Sunday.

Justin Tipuric powered over 10 minutes later.

Then Josh Adams showed his flair and pace to notch his team's third try in the 19th minute.

And finally Liam Williams dived over in the corner to secure his side's bonus-point fourth try.

    HT: Wales 29-0 Georgia

    Martyn Williams
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

Jonathan Davies is world class, you cannot give him half a yard. In midfield, the Georgian players just have no idea how to defend.

Which players to pick up, when to hold off, it's just poor, poor defence. In fairness to Wales, they've taken their chance again.

  18. Half-timepublished at 12:07 British Summer Time 23 September 2019

    Wales 29-0 Georgia

Dan Biggar's kick was the last action of the first half as the ball sailed through the posts after the clock ticked into the red.

Warren Gatland will be pleased with what he has seen so far.

    That's the bonus-point wrapped up.

The Welsh backs have ripped through Georgia in attack and Liam Williams scores try number four.

Jonathan Davies breaks the line after Gareth Davies runs a neat wrap-around.
