  1. try

Converted try - Wales 15-0 Georgiapublished at 13 mins

    Justin Tipuric (con Dan Biggar)

Wales move the ball off the top of the line-out and the backs are in free flow.

Gareth Davies makes the break, and when the ball is recycled, Justin Tipuric runs through under the posts.

This time Dan Biggar makes no mistake off the tee and Wales are cruising in Toyota.

    Wales 8-0 Georgia

Georgia win the scrum this time but Soso Matiashvili's kick is too long and Wales will have the line-out just inside their opponents' half.

  3. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Wales 8-0 Georgia

Giorgi Kveseladze, who was upended a moment ago, wins a fine penalty for his side as he forces Wales to hold on in the ruck.

There's a lot of back slapping and head tapping as Georgia relieve the pressure.

  4. Postpublished at 8 mins

    Wales 8-0 Georgia

Warren Gatland said his boys had been working hard at scrums in training and the proof is in the pudding.

The Welsh forwards obliterate their opposite numbers and win the penalty.

Dan Biggar prods it into touch and we'll have another line-out to Wales.

  5. 'Perfect start for Wales'published at 11:30 British Summer Time 23 September 2019

    Wales 8-0 Georgia

    Martyn Williams
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's been a perfect start for Wales, Georgia haven't touched the ball yet.

It's just basic errors from Georgia. Gorgodze, he's supposed to be this big talisman, he makes a mistake straight from the kick-off and it's just filtered through this team.

  7. Penalty - Wales 8-0 Georgiapublished at 6 mins

    Dan Biggar

    He certainly can.

The Northampton man kicks it as straight as an arrow through the sticks and that will help him forget about that earlier miss.

  8. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Wales 5-0 Georgia

Wales have the penalty inside the Georgia half and Dan Biggar opts for the posts.

Can the Wales fly-half redeem himself?

  9. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Wales 5-0 Georgia

Josh Adams is in the clear and we'll have a Welsh line-out inside the Georgian half.

    Here comes the heave...

  10. Postpublished at 4 mins

    Wales 5-0 Georgia

Georgia pump the ball deep into the Welsh half from the restart and as Wales clear their lines, Josh Adams and Giorgi Kveseladze contest for the ball in the air.

The Georgian winger falls awkwardly and we are having a TMO check to determine any foul play.

Dan Biggar is usually an exemplary kicker but that conversion attempt was about as bad as professional goal-kicking gets.

A total aberration from the Northampton 10.

  12. 'I don't think I've ever seen that'published at 11:22 British Summer Time 23 September 2019

    Wales 5-0 Georgia

    Martyn Williams

I don't think I've ever seen that from a recognised kicker! 10 metres out, right in front of the sticks, one of the best kickers in the world, hits the post!

  13. try

Try - Wales 5-0 Georgiapublished at 2 mins

    Jonathan Davies

You might stop him once, but he'll get through eventually.

Wales have another scrum and this time Jonathan Davies saunters through without a Georgian hand on him.

It was quick ball from the scrum and the centre burst onto a flat pass from Gareth Davies to dot down under the post.

    But...

Dan Biggar lets his concentration slip and misses the easiest of conversions in front of the posts.

That is definitely not something you expect to see at this level!

Georgia knock-on and Wales will have the first scrum.

Wales retain possession and move it wide but Jonathan Davies is stripped of the ball in the tackle.

    Wales v Georgia (11:15 BST)

    Philippa Tuttiett
Former Wales international on BBC Radio 5 Live

We played in the World Sevens series in Hong Kong last year, so I'm very aware of the humidity. It massively stifles pace of passing and fluidity. You want to see players confident and owning that ball, owning that handling. There could well be some nerves about it but I back them to shake that off.

  18. 'Wales will have far too much class for Georgia'published at 11:16 British Summer Time 23 September 2019

    Wales v Georgia (11:15 BST)

    Martyn Williams
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

Traditionally, when the tier one teams play a lesser team first up it can be very difficult, very awkward. This Welsh team have been waiting a long time. They've been absolutely itching to get out there and get their campaign off to a great start.

It's going to be difficult, going to be an arm wrestle. I think Wales will have far too much class an experience for this Georgia team.

    Wales v Georgia (11:15 BST)

    Philippa Tuttiett
Former Wales international on BBC Radio 5 Live

Alun Wyn Jones grinded his craft and became an expert. The incredible humility and modesty he carries with it is what makes him such a great leader.

  20. Postpublished at 11:14 British Summer Time 23 September 2019

    Wales v Georgia (11:15 BST)

Right then, both sets of players have made their way to the field.

Wales are the last home nation to get their campaign underway, but first, it's time for the anthems.

The Welsh national anthem is definitely one of the most stirring in the competition...
