Api Ratuniyarawa, missed con J Matavesi

That's better from Fiji - a third try to claw themselves back into things.

Northampton second row Api Ratuniyarawa bundles it over after his fellow lock Tevita Ratuva was hauled down inches short in the previous phase.

But again Josh Matavesi misses the conversion and Uruguay remain seven points ahead.

The footage from the Fiji changing room showed them very relaxed, the question was do you want them to be fired up?

They know they have to do better, they play better rugby when they are nice and relaxed and at the moment the balance is not quite right.

    Josh Matavesi

My word - this in not going Fiji's way.

Josh Matevesi misses the chance to bring them back within nine points and that should've been kicked.

I don't think Uruguay can keep this up, they're also running into the breeze which will make it a little bit tough for them but you never know.

    Fiji 12-24 Uruguay

Well, well - what a first half that was!

Fiji miss out on another half-chance to close the deficit with more knock-ons and Uruguay run it out of touch from the scrum.

They are buzzing with this lead and the three tries to put them in that position.

  14. Penalty: Fiji 12-24 Uruguaypublished at 38 mins

    Felipe Berchesi

Penalty was awarded to Uruguay after that incident.

    Fiji 12-21 Uruguay

Nasty-looking clash of heads between Juan Manuel Cat and Api Ratuniyarawa leads to a break in play.

Completely accidental, but Cat will take his time here having some treatment and both sides will have a very welcome breather.

The Fijians are struggling to get their rhythm and momentum because at times they make a break quite easily, but Uruguay have been fantastic at resetting their line.

Not quite, but nearly for Uruguay.

Another moment of madness from Fiji as they gave the ball away in the opposition's half.

The grubber chase was on for Andres Vilaseca but he couldn't quite get his hand down in time on the bouncing ball to dot down.

Fiji survive for now and it's a scrum five.

Is this a fourth Uruguay try?

    Fiji 12-21 Uruguay

    Fiji spurn another chance!

Plenty of pace and quick feet shown as they go right and then left, including a big hand-off from winger Filipo Nakosi, but Uruguay hold firm.

A knock-on from Fiji in line with the posts and Los Teros can try and clear from the scrum.
