Kuridrani is a big man, powerful and he's just starting to take a real grip on this game. He's saying 'give me the ball, I'm going to take control of this game'. This is where Australia need him over the next few weeks as bigger tests and bigger obstacles come in their way.

The Uruguayan defence was all over the place and you can't give Kuridrani that much space in the midfield. He knows he was in from about 20 metres out and he can celebrate in his customary fashion. That's their bonus point and that's just the start they would have wanted in this second half.

Tupou is a fascinating character. He is known as the Tongan Thor and I think from that run we can appreciate that... He was actually spotted by Michael Cheika years before after this moment at high school after he scored a try which went viral on YouTube.

Taniela Tupou has made a big impact since coming on with a couple of monster carries.

The powerful front-row breaks through a tackle with a terrific line but he knocks on just short of the whitewash.

Interesting one. You hope maybe that it's just a niggle and they're protecting Petaia. He was brilliant in the first half and I wanted to see more of him. Maybe Michael Cheika's decided that he's seen enough and he's playing in the next game?

It's actually really good play from Uruguay as well, I half-thought that they were just looking to play the ball out and get to half-time but they just piled men into that breakdown and it's a wonderful offload from the deck. Inciarte only has one man to beat and he just cruises in.

They've been very industrious, they've tried and really put it in.

The face of Esteban Meneses, the Uruguayan coach, was so excited and animated earlier on - I think he really thought his side had an opportunity to make a real fist of this match. But as the minutes keep ticking away, I think he realises they're going to be out-muscled.

Uruguay have played with ample determination but have made too many small errors.

Tomas Inciarte scampers clear down the touchline to ground the ball and Uruguay appear to have scored their first try.

But it's ruled out because Manuel Diana was offside in the build-up.

The decision is met by groans from the stands.
