Madness came the cry as Wales captain Alun Wyn Jones opted for a scrum when this set-piece area had struggled against the Springboks all game.

His bravery pays off as Wales ensure quick ball with Tomas Williams and Jonathan Davies releasing Josh Adams for his sixth try of the tournament.

Leigh Halfpenny takes over the kicking duties and duly slots over the touchline conversion to level the scores again.

What did we say - attack the space, attack wide - we attacked the space with pace and the players we've got and that was a massive kick as a conversion from Leigh Halfpenny.

That's 15 phases for Wales since the line-out, Tomos Williams is instructing his forwards into position. Dillon Lewis goes low but can't make a dent.

Wales get the penalty, and now look to grubber over the line for the wide men to attack... sliding across comes Faf de Klerk, like a Premier League goalkeeper.

Dan Biggar is normally so solid in defence but the Wales fly-half was guilty of missing South Africa centre Damian de Allende on the outside as Springboks score the first try of the game.

Biggar went too high in the tackle and paid the price. It proves Biggar's last involvement in the game as he is replaced by Rhys Patchell.
