Boos from the crowd as Glasgow are penalised for time-wasting at a line-out. You don't see that very often.

It was finger in the dam stuff, you had that sense of inevitability. It was always coming since the penalty. They just tap and go, none of this scrum down stuff. They realise there's 15 of them and back themselves.

    Quote Message

Exeter stick to what they know and it's ended in an Warriors yellow card. Glasgow were so brave against the Chiefs juggernaut but the bravery went on the wrong side of the law. You can't give up four penalty advantages in a single attack and keep 15 men on the field. Their discipline just went.

Exeter tap and go. They are determined to bulldoze their way through again.

The penalty is under the posts. What do Exeter do?

Lots of bodies on the plastic turf after that burst of intense exertion.

  8. Sin-binpublished at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

A series of infringements as Glasgow scramble for their lives. Fraser Brown is the worst offender and now he's in the bin.

It's an opportunity gone for Glasgow. Huw Jones was after it but the pitch is soaked through with rain and it just didn't bounce up for him. It's definitely seven points gone.

  11. Postpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Glasgow 24-24 Exeter

A golden chance for Huw Jones goes a-begging as he chases after his own kick, but the bounce again eludes him, the ball staying low as he slows up to almost walking pace. All he can do is knock it on when a try looked certain.

The Scotland centre can't believe his luck as he stands with his head in his hands.

Exeter have experience on the bench, but Warriors have spark. They've got Ali Price, George Turner. It's really difficult to read what's going to happen. I don't think we'll see a lot of change, at least I hope we don't because it's been great viewing.

Warriors need to go again, and they need to go even better. They're living with one of the best teams in Europe at the minute. To beat a team like Exeter they're going to need to play 80, 85 minutes at full pelt.

  14. Kick-offpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Glasgow 24-24 Exeter

    We're up and running again.

Huw Jones is almost in but can't gather a bobbling grubber kick from Kyle Steyn.

Rob Harley is on for Matt Fagerson as Glasgow reshuffle their back row.

For all the tries and the wonderful play, the yellow card has been the determining factor in that half which turned the tide. Other than that it's been nip and tuck.

Exeter have been playing into a stiff breeze so far. The visitors' game plan may well change after the break.

Remember, Glasgow led by three points at the halfway stage at Sandy Park in November before they were blown away.

It's the best game of the season for Glasgow so far. It's just a compelling game of rugby. I felt when Exeter's third try went over the lights may be going out for Warriors, but that try at the end of the half has set them running to the dressing room feeling good about themselves. It's just absolutely fantastic.

Well, that was something special! Exeter are well drilled and ruthlessly efficient, while Glasgow are wildly unpredictable.

Three tries each and a few more to come I'd wager...

    George Horne

We're back to 15 v 15 and we're back to all square right on the stroke of half time.

George Horne takes a pass from Adam Hastings and stumbles under the posts as he is just about able to stay on his feet from a desperate tap-tackle.
