RE Jack Harrison at 15:54 - most people argue for a play off, not replacement. Italy miles off the others in six nations and too many championships are going to whichever team wallops Italy by the greatest margin. Bring back #fivenations

Nice option from Elliot Daly, who spots that the Georgia wide defence has come up fast, flat and left space in behind.

He pokes a kick through rather than feeding Jonny May the sort of pass that comes through a hospital feeding tube.

Flanker Giorgi Tkhilaishvili's big bullocking run, swatting aside Owen Farrell en route, helps Georgia get out of the shadow of their own posts.

No changes at the break. And the rain is absolutely lashing down still. Back under way.

So, who has shown up well so far for England?

Jack Willis has done really well, albeit against opposition that are a level down from the world's best. He has been a nuisance at the breakdown and has shown plenty of bustle and bruising power with the ball in hand.

Jonathan Joseph has shown he can more than do a job on the wing before he was forced off through injury.

Props for the two props as well. Ellis Genge and Will Stuart have had the upper hand on their weighty Georgia counterparts.

Jack Harrison: I really hope today’s two games stop all this nonsense chat about Georgia replacing Italy in the Six Nations. They are absolutely miles off the pace, I’m afraid. Offered absolutely nothing, only completed 4 passes in the entire first half, and already knackered.

Fair. Italy's performance against Scotland earlier today was certainly stronger than Georgia's effort so far.

The weather has taken a grim turn at half-time. Rain is swirling round inside Twickenham now and the wind has picked up.

It could be a much uglier second half.

They were trying to establish England's pattern. They looked a bit inept at multi-phase play, but when they found that nugget of brilliance at the driving line out, it calmed them all down. They were slow to start, but I think Eddie will look to press on.

The game has been England through and through. Eddie knows England's strength, the scrum, they have some important games coming up and they won't go away from that.

It got better as it went on for England. It got very tiring for Georgia as it went on.

Is it potentially a calf, or a hamstring or a muscle tear? It is a blow, not just for this week, as he is such a versatile player.

That will be the last we see of Jonathan Joseph. Certainly for today, maybe for a while.

The Bath back is in a fair bit of pain as he is helped off the pitch. Not sure how he copped that knock. Joe Marchant is on.

What makes it so much more effective is having Joseph on the wing with the intelligence of a 13 is he knows where the weaknesses are. It must give him an advantage.

    Elliot Daly (con Farrell)

A try to go with the rather wonderful moustache...

A lot of questions about why Jonathan Joseph was picked on the wing in the week. The experiment is working well so far though. Joseph is coming inside and getting plenty of ball and causing lots of problems.

Here, he glides though a hole, via a double-pump dummy and feeds the hirsute Elliot Daly for the corner.

Owen Farrell drags the kick round for the conversion.

There is no need for England to do anything else - it is functional, it does what it says on the tin. Kick to the corner, get the lineo-ut, George drives over. More fool us for thinking it would change today.

  18. try

Try - England 19-0 Georgiapublished at 35 mins

    Jamie George

Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V. England cut, paste and score the same way again.

Jamie George hits his jumper, gets into the rear-gunner slot at the back of the rolling maul and reaps the rewards of his team-mates huff and puff.

Owen Farrell misses for the first time off the tee.

This is better from England's outside backs. Jonny May with the vision to spot Georgia are understaffed in backfield. A foxy little grubber and Henry Slade and Ollie Lawrence charge up like the light brigade.

Georgia tidy up but at the cost of an England line-out 10m out.

Any top quality side fancy their chances at 10 metres out like that. They have a great set up, and any team that get their body height and position right is so hard to stop.
