Bath have got to go in with no fear. Ben Spencer has been the glue that's held them during this good run of form.

They've got to go to play their own game, chase well and take their opportunities, because Sandy Park is a difficult place to go.

Bath director of rugby Stuart Hooper makes three changes from the starting line-up which drew 17-17 at Saracens last weekend.

Winger Joe Cokanasiga will make his first start for the Blue, Black and Whites in 16 months, having recovered from a long-term knee injury.

Cameron Redpath starts at centre and flanker Tom Ellis returns to the forward pack.

Bath: Watson; McConnochie, Joseph, Redpath, Cokanasiga; Priestland, Spencer; Obano, Dunn, Stuart, McNally, Ewels (capt), Ellis, Underhill, Faletau.

Exeter Chiefs director of rugby Rob Baxter largely reverts to the side which beat Toulouse in the European Champions Cup last month.

The big news is that winger Jack Nowell misses out with a foot injury.

Olly Woodburn replaces the England international, with centre Ollie Devoto and flanker Jacques Vermeulen also coming into the side.

Number eight Sam Simmonds (above) has scored 10 Premiership tries this season.

Exeter: Hogg; Woodburn, Slade, Devoto, O'Flaherty; J Simmonds (capt), Maunder; Hepburn, Cowan-Dickie, Williams, Gray, Hill, Ewers, Vermeulen, S Simmonds.

Replacements: Yeandle, Moon, Francis, Skinner, Kirsten, Hidalgo-Clyne, Steenson, Whitten.

Visitors Bath, whose strengths this season have been at the line-out and the ruck, were in danger of missing out on the top four after a final-day draw at Saracens.

But Sale's coronavirus outbreak meant the Blue, Black and Whites are targeting a first final since 2015.

Stuart Hooper's men have the best line-out success rate in 2019-20, winning 94% on their own throw, while Wales fly-half Rhys Priestland has kicked a league-high 44 penalties in his personal tally of 200 points this season.

This is Bath's fifth Premiership semi-final appearance, and they have previously made it to Twickenham twice.

But they have lost six of the past seven league matches against Exeter - although their sole win did come in round two earlier this season.

Time to look ahead to the second play-off match now.

Like fellow semi-finalists Bristol, Exeter Chiefs also have a European final to look forward to.

The Devonians beat Toulouse on 26 September to reach the Champions Cup final for the first time in the club's history.

With top spot in the table secured, the Chiefs lost their final three league games as director of rugby Rob Baxter utilised his squad in the run-in.

Exeter have won all four of their previous Premiership semi-finals, which have all been played at Sandy Park.

And they have not lost back-to-back home league games since September 2014.

It's a brilliant performance from Wasps, they were outstanding and the backroom staff too because the coaches got their game plan exactly right.

Wasps were clinical but at the same time very composed and calm, Jack Willis was brilliant.

They were by far the better team and fully deserve their place in the final.

It's just not been Bristol's day.

There will be no Twickenham final for the Bears, but they'll have to pick themselves up from this disappointment quickly - they face French club Toulon in the European Challenge Cup final on Friday.

Pat Lam's side showed some flashes of inspiration in attack late on, so will have some positives to take from defeat.

Wasps book their spot at Twickenham with a dominant display.

    Wasps 47-24 Bristol

Almost another Wasps try right from the kick-off.

The restart goes deep into the Bristol in-goal area.

Ben Earl waits for the ball to bounce dead but Josh Bassett races in and gets a hand to the ball first.

    The winger things he's scored.

But, after a consultation with the TMO, the officials decide the ball has just bounced on the line. No try.

    Max Malins, con missed Sheedy

Bristol have left it late to show their quality.

The line-out is scrappy and the Bears are forced out of the Wasps 22.

No worry for them, as they go left and the ball is offloaded to Max Malins on the right flank.

The full-back chips ahead and races onto the ball to score.

Callum Sheedy can't add the extra two on this occasion.

    Harry Randall, con Callum Sheedy

Bristol are still making a game of it.

The Bears finally work a numerical advantage as smart offloads from Max Malins and Ben Earls give the visitors a two-on-one on the left.

Piers O'Conor switches the ball back inside to Harry Randall to cross.

Callum Sheedy adds a quick conversion.

Good play from the visitors, but it's been all too rare this afternoon.

Into the final 10 minutes, and it'll probably be damage limitation for the visitors.

Bristol have their European Challenge Cup final against Toulon to look forward to on Friday, and won't want to pick up any injuries.

The Bears have not been able to show their attacking flair today, and Wasps have run away with the game in the second half.
