  12. What if it's a draw?published at 13:19 British Summer Time 10 October 2020

    Extra-time possible

These semi-final matches have to be decided today.

If any match is level after 80 minutes, then extra time will be played.

That will be 10 minutes each way, with a one-minute break in between.

If nothing separates the sides at the end of extra time, then the winner will be the club which as scored the most tries in the match.

If the number of tries scored are the same, then there will be a place-kicking competition. We'll come to the rules of that only if we have to.

And before you say "it'll never end in a draw" - there have been three in the Premiership this season, and Bristol needed extra-time to win their European Challenge Cup semi-final last month.

Wasps have captain Joe Launchbury and influential flanker Jack Willis back for their Premiership semi-final tie against Bristol Bears.

Winger Zach Kibirige is Wasps' top try-scorer in the Premiership with nine. Willis has eight, and fly-half Jacob Umaga has seven.

Elsewhere in the back line, the old stager Jimmy Gopperth has wracked up 143 points this season.

Bristol Bears have impressed with the ball in hand this season, leading the charts on metres made, clean breaks, defenders beaten, passes and offloads.

The summer addition of Fiji star Semi Radradra added even more magic to their back line, but the Bears also possess a mean forward pack which has the highest scrum success rate and the most tries from mauls.

Alongside their first semi-final appearance in 13 years, Pat Lam's men have already secured a place in the European Challenge Cup final on Friday, with Toulon their opponents.

Bristol, who were relegated from the top flight in 2017, are three wins away from clinching a double.

Wasps come into this game having won eight of their nine Premiership matches since the season restarted in August.

Lee Blackett's men thrashed a much-changed Exeter side last weekend to finish three points behind the Chiefs in the table.

Wasps are the second-highest try scorers in the league this season, finishing with a bonus point in 12 of their 22 regular matches.

The Ricoh Arena side also boast a one-man turnover machine in Jack Willis.

The uncapped flanker has won 43 turnovers in the Premiership this season, a staggering 24 more than any other player.

This one could really be a thriller.

The first semi-final pits a high-scoring Wasps side against an equally attack-minded Bristol Bears.

Wasps dominated the Premiership in the early 2000s, winning three consecutive finals.

Their last title came in 2008, and Wasps were beaten finalists in 2017.

Opponents Bristol are making their first semi-final appearance in 13 years, and are targeting a maiden final at Twickenham.

The Bears were beaten 59-35 by Wasps at the Ricoh Arena in round 20 of the regular campaign in September, but the visitors put out a much stronger side this afternoon.
