    Glasgow started quite brightly. They got a few attacks with purpose and got the first points in the game. Edinburgh didn't really get in to the game until about 25 minutes. They got a few shots quite cheaply from Glasgow being offside, but I think it was pretty even. There wasn't a lot of stand out moments until the yellow card, which was a big turning point.

    He [Groom] was a bit like Forrest Gump there for a second wasn't he? The match is not exactly an exhibition of attacking rugby. In the last five or ten minutes it got interesting with a couple of incidents, the yellow card, Groom dancing to the tune of a by-passing train.

    Edinburgh scored a fantastic try. I thought it would be pick and go. They almost blew it, Kinghorn maybe got the pass later than he should have but they still got it and a really good try.

    No mistake from in front of the sticks by Ross Thompson! Glasgow, with 14 men, end the half within a point.

    Bizarre from Nic Groom, who picks up a spilled ball, runs back about 10m before kicking it out! He must've thought it was half-time but there was a full minute left.

    Glasgow then get a penalty, Ali Price takes it quickly and not long after Edinburgh are pinged again.

    Edinburgh move the ball to the left wing, can't break through so truck it up for a few phases, before pinging it the other way where Chris Dean puts Jamie Farndale into the corner.

    A double blow for Glasgow. Jaco van der Walt nails the conversion from out wide.

    I expected more. So far there's been a lack of continuity, a lot of mistakes, a lot of penalties given away. It's almost like they are still feeling each other out, like that game of chess mentality.

    Ross Thompson's kicks bounces off the artificial turf and spins dead. That kind of sums up the last 15 minutes.

    What Edinburgh will now do, after losing possession, they will get a message not to put any width on it. Good defence, defended them all exceptionally well. It went wide then Jamie Farndale went one on one with Rufus MacLean, you know, really good defence there, and to get the turnover, even better.

    The Scotland prop has been under a bit of pressure from Zander Fagerson so far a the scrum.

    Edinburgh are edging towards the line, with Jamie Farndale afforded space on the right wing before being hauled to deck by a Glasgow defender.

    Edinburgh then truck it up, and George Turner gets himself in the thick of it to turn it into a maul and win the scrum.

    Another offside from Glasgow - Nick Grigg and Lee Jones in particular - gives Blair Kinghorn the chance to boot Edinburgh into the opposition 22. Good chance here.
