    Glasgow 29-19 Edinburgh

Glasgow's Cole Forbes has an option outside him, he delays the pass to Ratu Tagive, which allows Eroni Sau to smash him.

However, the referee is checking for an illegal hit and potentially a deliberate knock on.

Decision is just a knock on in the tackle from Sau. Cole Forbes should've given that earlier. Tagive was in.

Edinburgh's Grant Gilchrist is hobbling off, there was concern another Scotland second-row was going to leave the pitch on a stretcher, but he's on his feet.

Glasgow's penalty. Can they stretch further ahead?

  4. Glasgow on the marchpublished at 59 mins

    Glasgow 29-19 Edinburgh

Glasgow are laying siege to the Edinburgh line.

Ratu Tagive trucks it up, Zander Fagerson has a go. The big men chuck the kitchen sink at it, but can't break through.

Penalty advantage, though, after an Edinburgh infringement.

  6. Glasgow back up to 15published at 58 mins

    Glasgow 29-19 Edinburgh

Ratu Tagive is back on, having been subbed after Oli Kebble's red card.

So despite a red card each, we're back to 15-a-side.

  7. try

Try - Glasgow 29-19 Edinburghpublished at 54 mins

    Stuart McInally

On his return from injury, the Scotland hooker strikes!

    Another maul, another Edinburgh try.

Great vision from McInally to peel off and cruise over in the right-hand corner. Edinburgh completely dominant at the maul.

Nathan Chamberlain pulls the conversion wide.

    Game on again, though!

  8. Edinburgh back up to 15published at 53 mins

    Glasgow 24-17 Edinburgh

Edinburgh's 20-minute period with 14 men comes to a period. Remember, it's the new trial law. Glasgow still with 14.

James Johnstone comes on the fill the spot vacated by Mark Bennett, who was sent off. Confused?

    Anyway, Edinburgh in Glasgow's 22.

Kyle Steyn's playing really well, he didn't play great against Benetton but he's really showing off his skills tonight.

Try - Glasgow 29-14 Edinburghpublished at 48 mins

    Kyle Steyn

    And there it is!

Glasgow get a free-kick from the scrum and they thud away at the line. Ali Price has the presence of mind to loop a long pass out to Steyn, who was waiting on the wing to pounce.

Ross Thompson can't quite convert. Bonus-point up for Glasgow.

    Glasgow 24-17 Edinburgh

Cole Forbes puts a grubber through as Glasgow come again, but Eroni Sau is there to gather, though he is forced to carry over his own line before being dumped to the deck.

    Warriors with a 5m scrum.

  12. Thompson shinespublished at 45 mins

    Glasgow 24-17 Edinburgh

Ross Thompson is such a classy player.

First, a cross-field kick finds Cole Forbes on the left wing, but Edinburgh scramble to defend.

Glasgow recycle the ball and the fly-half stabs another kick into Edinburgh's 22 for some good territory.

  13. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Glasgow 24-17 Edinburgh

There's a bit of debate about exactly who scored Edinburgh's second try. The Pro14 have officially given it to Pierre Schoeman, though Edinburgh, and myself thought it was Dave Cherry. As did our radio and TV colleagues!

Anyway, play on. Edinburgh get a scrum penalty and get up to the halfway line.

You want collisions to be as safe as possible. All the medics on both teams are helping out to make sure Scott Cummings is ok but Richie Gray is not a bad replacement to have.

  15. Postpublished at 21:34 British Summer Time 7 May 2021

    Glasgow 24-17 Edinburgh

Scott Cummings has been carried off on a stretcher. It looked as though he was out cold. Richie Gray is on in his place.

Hopefully he's alright, he gave a thumbs up before being wheeled off. Both sets of players are just trying to stay warm.

FYI, Jamie Ritchie was replaced by Mesu Kunavula at half-time for Edinburgh.

  16. Cummings down injuredpublished at 40 mins

    Glasgow 24-17 Edinburgh

There's been a nasty clash here between Bill Mata and Scott Cummings.

The Glasgow lock has tried to chop the big Fijian at the ankles, and he's hurt his head in the process. Let's hope he's ok.

Glasgow's attack game in particular has been very good, there have been a couple of errors but that could happen in any game. They have the patience, the skill and the physicality to grind Edinburgh down.
