    Tom Shanklin

Poor from Wales. Tomos Williams does not need to force the pass.

    Wales are making basic errors.

It's a lapse of concentration and they shouldn't be giving up possession.

Tuipulotu is an outstanding player and he's not just a direct centre.

He is a guy who has a lot of ability and reads the game extremely well.

A cagey 10 minutes at the start of the second half.

Will that be the prompt for Wales to open up? It's difficult because the rain is coming down.

A few tempers flaring now as Scotland win a scrum in their 22.

Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

As a back, you do not make any eye-contact with your forwards there.

They've just made 20 yards and burst a gut in the maul, and you kick it straight out - shocking.

    Andy Nicol
Former Scotland scrum-half on BBC One

I don't think Scotland coaches have ever had the luxury of bringing on two British and Irish Lions props in the second half.

    It's incredible.

Centre Sione Tuipulotu has shown what a dangerous runner he can be as he goes tearing into Wales' 22.

The heavies have come on off the bench.

We the saw the impact of the starting front row last week - now it's their turn to come on and make a positive impact.

  10. Replacementpublished at 46 mins

    Wales 14-14 Scotland

Scotland have called in their own 'bomb squad' - the tactic world champions South Africa employ so successfully.

There's an all new front row of Rory Sutherland, George Turner and Zander Fagerson.

This is the same front row that started against England.

Pierre Schoeman, Stuart McInally and WP Nel have departed.

    Andy Nicol
Former Scotland scrum-half on BBC One

It's been an edgy start to the second half.

Both teams are kicking a lot - it's as if half-time has sucked the energy out and they need to get it back.

    Tom Shanklin

It's so difficult to call this one, it's so close.

I feel this game is going to come down right to the wire.

  14. Postpublished at 44 mins

    Wales 14-14 Scotland

A moment to forget for Scotland captain Stuart Hogg who kicks the ball straight into touch on the full.

Wales go back for the line-out.

  15. 'Really exciting second half'published at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2022

    HT: Wales 14-14 Scotland

    James Hook
Former Wales fly-half on BBC Radio Wales

I think what's pleasing from Wales is we've wanted a reaction from last week against Ireland and we've got that from the off.

Scotland have had their moments in the first half as we knew they would.

I'm been really impressed by Tompkins and Watkin in the centre. They've been really solid and if they grow into the game and feed our back three with some ball, it could be a really exciting second half.

The players are back out on the pitch.

    HT: Wales 14-14 Scotland

    James Hook
Former Wales fly-half on BBC Radio Wales

Scotland look a little stronger in attack, particularly when the likes of Hogg, Van der Merwe and Graham get the ball.

But Wales, when they keep the ball, are forcing penalties out of Scotland and putting them under a little bit of pressure.

  19. Wales have 'fought for every little bit'published at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2022

    HT: Wales 14-14 Scotland

    Jonathan Davies
Former Wales international on BBC One

Wales are far more committed at the breakdown [than in Ireland]. They are slowing Scottish ball down, getting their turnovers and keeping possession.

They are not looking that threatening but they are in this game because they have fought for every little bit and Scotland have gone back into their shell a little bit.
