    France 18-13 England

Just as England look like they're clicking into gear, France strike again at the breakdown.

Gael Fickou, who's having a brilliant game and Six Nations in general, is the man who forces the turnover penalty again.

Fickou's like a prime Brian O'Driscoll jackling like that with 13 on his back.

    Freddie Steward

A popular try in England and Ireland!

With France penalised for being offside, England kick their penalty to touch near the French 22.

Joe Marchant then goes scything through the French midfield, his break putting France's defence on the back foot.

They can't regroup in time and England move the ball to the right wing, where Freddie Steward cuts back inside and finishes well in the corner.

Brick wall stuff from France. Their technique is so powerful and solid.

    France 18-6 England

Antonie Dupont clears to halfway. England run it back and they're back by the French 22 in no time.

The attack loses its way a little and a kicking exchange ensues.

Nevertheless, this has been a decent start to the second half from Eddie Jones' men.

    France 18-6 England

France stop England's maul before it gets going but the visitors still have the ball.

Again, it's the direct route they take with their big bruisers up front barging into their counterparts.

However, they come undone as Sam Underhill knocks on as he's tackled.

France's defence stands firm again and they'll have a scrum near their own try line.

    France 18-6 England

England have a scrum on the French 22 and their forwards carry powerfully with penalty advantage, before Marcus Smith tries to find Jamie George with a cross-field kick.

It doesn't come off so Smith will kick to the corner. Quite a bold move.

England's Marcus Smith gets the second half under way.

Can they spoil France's party and hand Ireland the title?

Or is this French side destined for a first Grand Slam since 2010?

    Ugo Monye
Former England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

England have been outmuscled. They've been able to control the ball in the sky but to beat France you have to be able to control the ball on the floor.

France have had over 70% of their ball under three seconds. That's really quick and when you have a player like Dupont, things happen around him.

They can afford to miss two or three chances because you know they're going to get more. What will England's plan look like in the second half?

The kicking plan has got them some territory but beyond that they need to add another layer to beat what looks like the Grand Slam champions.

France should be out of sight. We've seen the highlight reel from them but England are sticking to an obvious game plan. I understand that.

They're playing away from home against possibly the best team in the world at the moment, but something has to change. That's the main takeaway.

England are going to get opportunities but when they get the line breaks, get your heads up and finish them off. They have to throw a bit more caution to the wind.

England have come out with a plan, they've rattled France, there have been some good performances. Ellis Genge has done the work of two men and is still going.

France blew four or five clear-cut chances and they've still squeezed seven massive points before half-time.

That Jaminet conversion is the final act of the first half.

What a time for France to score their second try - they have a first Grand Slam since 2010 in their sights.

England have competed well but, if France can eliminate their handling errors and take their chances, they will take some stopping.

    Francois Cros

    France have their second try!

Wing Gabin Villiere and flanker Anthony Jelonch set the French attack in motion on the left wing and, although those two are thwarted, Les Bleus continue to pour forward.

Fly-half Romain Ntamack breaks brilliantly in midfield and it's Francois Cros on hand to touch down from close range.

It's England who force a turnover now - excellent pilfering from Sam Underhill in his own 22.

England clear and Melvyn Jaminet opts to run the ball back now. France look like they'll end the half on the attack.

Maro Itoje steals the ball in France's half and England sense a chance to attack.

That is until Gael Fickou pinches possession back at a ruck.

Centre, back row, lock, doesn't matter. France are bossing the breakdown tonight.
