    Scotland captain Rachel Malcolm has been giving her thoughts on ITV: "Obviously gutted for it to finish", she said. "It's taken us 12 years, but we've shown we deserve to be here.

    "I thought New Zealand were outstanding today. Their attack in the first half was some of the toughest I've ever had to defend against. I'm super proud of my team in the second half. We showed real heart. We'll be back."

    You can see what it means - this has been a long process for Scotland to make it back to the World Cup. They came up against a force of nature in the opening 40 minutes. New Zealand are a top quality side.
