Sale are without fly-half AJ MacGinty who picked up a hamstring injury in last week's game between the two sides.

The USA international is replaced by Dan du Preez.

South Africa hooker Akker van der Merwe and flanker Cameron Neild - who were also injured on Saturday - miss out with Curtis Langdon coming into the front row and Ben Curry joining brother Tom in the back row.

Experienced winger Marland Yarde replaces Arron Reed, who scored the Sharks' third try last week.

Sale: Hammersley; McGuigan, S James, Tuilagi, Yarde; R du Preez, de Klerk; Harrison, Langdon, Oosthuizen, Wiese, J-L du Preez, T Curry (capt), B Curry, D du Preez.

Champions Exeter hand fit-again Jack Nowell a start at full-back with Stuart Hogg on the bench.

That's one of three changes from last weekend's meeting against Sale with Sam Skinner and Dave Ewers both banned for dangerous tackles.

Scotland's Jonny Gray returns for compatriot Skinner, while Richard Capstick replaces Ewers.

Premiership player of the season and British & Irish Lions-bound Sam Simmonds will be looking to add to his record-breaking try tally of 20.

Exeter: Nowell; Cuthbert, Slade, Devoto, O'Flaherty; J Simmonds (capt), Maunder; Hepburn, Cowan-Dickie, Williams, Gray, Hill, Kirsten, Capstick, S Simmonds.

Replacements: Yeandle, Moon, Street, Lonsdale, Armand, Townsend, H Skinner, Hogg.

Exeter are going through their final warm-ups now.

If ever they needed reminding that the home side doesn't always make it to Twickenham, that last game was it.

Chiefs have won five successive semi-finals at Sandy Park, going on to win two titles.

This is Exeter Chiefs' sixth successive Premiership semi-final. All have been played at Sandy Park with Exeter winning their previous five.

Sale Sharks have played in just two previous Premiership semi-finals, both against Wasps, losing at Adams Park in 2005 and winning at Edgeley Park in 2006.

The last four fixtures between the two clubs have been evenly split with two wins apiece. Sale have won just twice in 12 previous visits to Sandy Park.

So erm, how on earth do we top that?

The second semi-final between Exeter and Sale has A LOT to live up to!

And it gets going in just a few minutes...

Absolutely incredible, I'm still trying to understand what I've just watched.

I think I need a lie down. Don't go anywhere folks, Joe Rindl's about to take us through Exeter's semi-final with Sale.

Harlequins general manager Billy Millard on BT Sport:

"I was in the changing room for the last two or three minutes there. I couldn't watch it.

"We just knew that if we could get some momentum on the scoreboard, it might shift Bristol.

"It's just unbelievable the spirit from this side and group."

Bristol Bears players and supporters look absolutely shellshocked.

They stormed to top place at the end of the regular season and then cruised to a 28-0 lead inside the first half here.

But Harlequins came back and did what they've done so many times this season and just did not stop believing they could score points.

They reach their first Premiership final since they won the title in 2012 and become the first away team to win a Premiership semi-final since Saracens won at Northampton in 2015.
