    Well now....

Are we on for a comeback even Lazarus wouldn't believe?

Quins make all the running from the restart and after a penalty advantage and quick tap from Danny Care inside the Bristol 22, Tyrone Green crashes over for their second score by the posts.

    Well, well....

Time to take several deep breaths and relax.

That ends an absolutely relentless first half at Ashton Gate.

Bristol in command here and seemingly bound for Twickenham next weekend.

Quins need a huge comeback if they are going to be making the short journey across the A316 to the final on Saturday instead.

  8. try

Try: Bristol 28-5 Harlequinspublished at 39 mins

Alex Dombrandt, missed con Marcus Smith

    Quins on the board finally.

Marcus Smith hangs an up-and-under into the Bristol half and Max Malins spills the high ball.

Tyrone Green put him under pressure and Alex Dombrandt latched on the loose ball to run clear for the try.

But Marcus Smith misses the conversion.

Ball spilled out of touch by Quins captain Stephan Lewies as Danny Care tries to thread a pass through a tight space to the left wing.

Sums up their fortunes in this semi-final so far that particular passage of play.

And another stoppage as Quins flanker Jack Kenningham takes a knock to his head when getting on the wrong side of an attempted tackle on Andy Uren.

Quins still pushing to try and get something on the board before the interval.

A rare stoppage in play. In fact, I think the first of the match so far after Danny Care kicks clear to touch and the water boys can get on.

    Bristol have been completely ruthless...

    Bristol 28-0 Harlequins

Some rare phases of continued possession for Quins until Joe Marchant gets isolated on halfway and Ben Earl forces the turnover.

Terrific work on the floor as yet again they can kick to the corner for another attacking line-out.

    Bristol 28-0 Harlequins

Couple of chances go begging for Quins despite gaining a penalty advantage off that scrum.

Alex Dombrandt spills the ball forward in contact with only three metres to go until the tryline.

Harlequins win a penalty in the Bristol 22 after Alex Dombrandt is taken out off the ball.

It's dead in front of the posts, but Quins opt for the attacking scrum as they need a try and then some quickly....

Not to be though for the visitors as Luke Morahan makes a terrific last-ditch covering tackle to force Louis Lynagh out of touch before he could dot down.

Louis Lynagh thinks he's in for a score in the corner...

Rare indiscretion for Bristol as Nathan Hughes is penalised for some afters and Quins win a scrum from the restart.

    Luke Morahan, con Callum Sheedy

This is getting ugly now for Harlequins....

A fourth try for Bristol and it's the turn of Luke Morahan to get on the scoresheet this time.

Semi Radradra and Max Malins skip past Luke Northmore and Malins keeps it alive by getting the inside pass to Morahan to touch down in the right corner for his 21st Premiership try.

Callum Sheedy back on target off the tee.

    Bristol 21-0 Harlequins

Louis Lynagh the latest Quins player to show some indiscipline as he goes off his feet and gives a penalty away.

Bristol kick it long to touch where Harry Thacker has a line-out on the edge of the Quins 22.

  20. Postpublished at 25 mins

    Bristol 21-0 Harlequins

Bristol have won six penalties to Harlequins' nought so far.

Another illustration of just how dominant they've been.

Make that seven as another attacking attempt breaks down for Quins with a knock-on from Jack Kenningham at the base of a ruck.
