Argentina repel the Welsh rolling maul, but that's not the danger over.

Wales' forwards hurl themselves towards the Argentina try line and the Pumas are offside.

Jonah Holmes drops a miss-pass from Jarrod Evans and we'll go back for the offisde penalty.

    Wales 13-20 Argentina

Wales centre Nick Tompkins kicks from his own half and up towards the Argentina try line, with Santiago Chocobares putting the ball into touch to give Wales a line-out five metres out.

Oh no, Jonathan Davies is receiving treatment. He's had his fair share of awful injuries during his career.

But it looks like the Wales captain is fine to continue. That's a relief.

Wales move within 10 metres of the Argentina try line as Jonah Holmes speeds down the right wing.

But once again the Pumas are tenacious at the breakdown and force another turnover.

The 14 men are making life difficult for Wales.

    Wales 13-20 Argentina

Wales have the ball inside the Argentina half but Jarrod Evans kicks possession away.

You could see what he was trying with his cross-field chip to Owen Lane, but it was easily cut out by the Pumas.

Time for another of those sets of kicking tennis between the two sides.

Argentina blink first, with Matias Moroni kicking the ball out on the full, handing Wales a line-out in the visitors' half.

    Wales 13-20 Argentina

This is a decent spell of possession from Argentina, who are carrying powerfully and making steady territory gains inside the Welsh half.

This will suit the Pumas, a man down and looking to protect - and maybe increase - their lead.

They won't add to it this time, as they're bundled into touch by Wales' covering defenders. Good work from Owen Lane there.

  7. Missed penaltypublished at 58 mins

    Wales 13-20 Argentina

Ha, an extravagant dive from Pablo Matera!

The Argentina flanker breaks free down the wing, chips ahead and looks to con the referee by throwing himself to the ground after brushing against Nick Tompkins.

Referee Matt Carley is not impressed but was playing advantage for Argentina anyway.

Nicolas Sanchez has a tough penalty, 40 metres out wide to the right, and it falls wide.

  8. Missed penaltypublished at 55 mins

    Wales 13-20 Argentina

Scrum issues for Wales again. This time it's loose-head Nicky Smith who concedes a penalty for bringing the scrum down.

Fortunately for the Ospreys prop, Argentina fly-half Nicolas Sanchez misses the penalty.

Much better from Wales, they're now turning that pressure into points. They're back in this one.

  10. try

    Will Rowlands

Wales make their pressure count and they're back in the game.

It's solid, patient play as the forwards put their opponents under pressure with concerted phases.

Lock Will Rowlands makes the killer contribution, showing good hands to pick up Tomos Williams' pass and muscle his way over.

That's his second try for Wales, having scored his first in last weekend's thrashing of Canada.

No, it's a quick tap from the forwards, who take it in turns to try and burrow their way over the Argentina try line.

The Pumas are offside again - more penalty advantage to Wales.

    Wales 6-20 Argentina

Playing with advantage inside the Argentina 22, Wales try their luck with a Jarrod Evans chip over the try line, but Ross Moriarty can't touch down.

Argentina are offside, and it looks like Wales will kick to the corner.

By the way, Wales made two changes after Argentina's second try, with half-backs Kieran Hardy and Callum Sheedy replaced by Tomos Williams and Jarrod Evans.

I think this is a great opportunity for Jarrod Evans and Tomos Williams to try and turn this game around for Wales.

    Wales 6-20 Argentina

Wales come close to responding immediately but wing Owen Lane is held up just short of the try line.

Fly-half Jarrod Evans, on for Callum Sheedy, gets an early touch with a nice pass but the covering defence from Argentina is good.

Wales' defence opened up very strongly but Argentina are starting to gain momentum.

    Jeronimo De La Fuente

The 14 men extend their lead with a beautifully executed try.

Playing with advantage from a scrum, Argentina's backs get their hands on the ball and it's Nicolas Sanchez who makes the break.

He manages to free his arms in a tackle and offloads to centre Jeronimo De La Fuente, who snipes over for a well-worked second try.

There are a couple of knock-ons and the Pumas have a scrum inside the Welsh 22.

  19. Replacementpublished at 43 mins

    Wales 6-13 Argentina

I say better from Wales... and then they surrender possession once more.

That was arguably their best spell so far, though.

Argentina win the ball back, Wales lock Will Rowlands is penalised for a high tackle and the Pumas kick to touch inside the Welsh half.

Meanwhile, Wales centre Nick Tompkins comes on for Uilisi Halaholo.

Wales wing Owen Lane has a first chance to show his pace and power out wide with a forceful run.
