That's a fantastic first steal from Josh Turnbull, he's been on less than a minute. It clears the pressure for Wales who can now exit their half.

Wales tight-head Dillon Lewis concedes a second scrum penalty, which Argentina take quickly.

They motor into the Welsh 22 but their attack is halted by Josh Turnbull, who does well to force a turnover penalty.

What an impact from the replacement. You can't miss him with his bleach-blonde hair.

Just as Argentina's backs look to be clicking into gear, referee Matt Carley calls them back for a forward pass.

Neither backline is playing with much rhythm at the moment.

Wales number eight Aaron Wainwright is taken off for a head injury assessment, so Josh Turnbull replaces him temporarily.

Argentina concede another penalty for offside, this time it's centre Matias Moroni handing Wales a chance to kick into the opponents' half.

Wales' line-out goes to plan but then Uilisi Halaholo loses possession and Argentina have a scrum just inside their own-half.

It's all a bit stop-start at the moment.

It has not been the points-fest of last week so far, when Wales defeated Canada 68-12, but it has been an entertaining opening quarter as both sides test each other out.

Wales have just been a little wasteful when they have put themselves in good attacking positions but they are creating chances.

No sooner do Argentina take the lead, they hand Wales an opportunity to draw level.

Wales advance towards the Pumas' 22 and the visitors' number eight Rodrigo Bruni is offside.

It's a simple kick for Callum Sheedy and he bisects the posts to make it 3-3.

Two penalties conceded by number eights, both easily converted by the fly-halves and we're all square again.

I like Callum Sheedy's inventiveness but I just think it was the players around Aaron Wainwright who didn't react quick enough.

The two sides exchange a couple of kicks, with neither making much of an effort to chase their clearances.

Wales take a 22 drop-out quickly but they concede a penalty right in front of their own posts.

Callum Sheedy puts Aaron Wainwright in rather a lot of bother there, and it's the Wales number eight who concedes the penalty.

Nicolas Sanchez simply does not miss from there. Argentina lead.

A first scrum of the afternoon yields a penalty for Wales as Argentina's front row are judged to have brought it down.

Another good early set-piece triumph for Wales.

This penalty is in kickable range for Callum Sheedy, but the Bristol fly-half pushes his 40-yard effort just wide of the far post.

Will Rowlands makes amends immediately, doing sterling work to earn Wales a scrum by spoiling Argentina's attempts at a rolling maul.

The maul is a big weapon for the Pumas, so that's a significant early blow for Wales to land.

Wales' first attack comes to nothing but, with penalty advantage, they kick to the corner again.

The second time the move breaks down, however, Wales concede a penalty near the Argentina try line as lock Will Rowlands is penalised for crawling on the floor.

The Pumas kick clear and survive that period of Welsh pressure.

Wales' support play is good and, from a follow-up grubber-kick towards the Argentina try line, the home side swarm the covering Pumas defence and earn another penalty.

Wainwright is eventually brought down and Wales lose the ball.
