The referee hasn't messed about there. He's penalised one, penalised the other, given a warning and now they're both off.

    Wales 6-3 Argentina

    Double sin-bin!

Referee Matt Carley loses patience with Wales tight-head prop Dillon Lewis and Argentina loose-head Nahuel Tetaz, and shows them both a yellow card!

Both sides will need to make changes now, needing to temporarily bring on replacement props so we can have functioning scrums.

Leon Brown is on for Wales, with Josh Tunrbull making way for 10 minutes.

    Wales 6-3 Argentina

It looks like Argentina wing Santiago Carreras has hurt himself trying to tackle Josh Turnbull from the restart.

Referee Matt Carley stops the game instantly so Carreras can receive treatment.

He's gone off for a head injury assesment. Santiago Chocobares comes on in his place.

  4. Penalty - Wales 6-3 Argentinapublished at 27 mins

    Callum Sheedy

Argentina are penalised for blocking Wales' kick chasers and this is a decent opportunity for Wales, who have a line-out on the Pumas' 22.

Argentina concede another penalty and this looks very kickable for Callum Sheedy, who points to the posts.

The Bristol fly-half sends the kick over and Wales lead for the first time.

    Wales 3-3 Argentina

    Ian Gough
Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

That's a fantastic first steal from Josh Turnbull, he's been on less than a minute. It clears the pressure for Wales who can now exit their half.

    Wales 3-3 Argentina

Wales tight-head Dillon Lewis concedes a second scrum penalty, which Argentina take quickly.

They motor into the Welsh 22 but their attack is halted by Josh Turnbull, who does well to force a turnover penalty.

What an impact from the replacement. You can't miss him with his bleach-blonde hair.

    Wales 3-3 Argentina

Just as Argentina's backs look to be clicking into gear, referee Matt Carley calls them back for a forward pass.

Neither backline is playing with much rhythm at the moment.

Wales number eight Aaron Wainwright is taken off for a head injury assessment, so Josh Turnbull replaces him temporarily.

    Wales 3-3 Argentina

Argentina concede another penalty for offside, this time it's centre Matias Moroni handing Wales a chance to kick into the opponents' half.

Wales' line-out goes to plan but then Uilisi Halaholo loses possession and Argentina have a scrum just inside their own-half.

It's all a bit stop-start at the moment.

Argentina earn a penalty from the scrum and kick into Wales' half.

    Wales 3-3 Argentina

    Gareth Griffiths
BBC Sport Wales at Principality Stadium

It has not been the points-fest of last week so far, when Wales defeated Canada 68-12, but it has been an entertaining opening quarter as both sides test each other out.

Wales have just been a little wasteful when they have put themselves in good attacking positions but they are creating chances.

  10. Penalty - Wales 3-3 Argentinapublished at 18 mins

    Callum Sheedy

No sooner do Argentina take the lead, they hand Wales an opportunity to draw level.

Wales advance towards the Pumas' 22 and the visitors' number eight Rodrigo Bruni is offside.

It's a simple kick for Callum Sheedy and he bisects the posts to make it 3-3.

Two penalties conceded by number eights, both easily converted by the fly-halves and we're all square again.

I like Callum Sheedy's inventiveness but I just think it was the players around Aaron Wainwright who didn't react quick enough.

  12. Penalty - Wales 0-3 Argentinapublished at 17 mins

    Nicolas Sanchez

The two sides exchange a couple of kicks, with neither making much of an effort to chase their clearances.

Wales take a 22 drop-out quickly but they concede a penalty right in front of their own posts.

Callum Sheedy puts Aaron Wainwright in rather a lot of bother there, and it's the Wales number eight who concedes the penalty.

Nicolas Sanchez simply does not miss from there. Argentina lead.

  13. Missed penaltypublished at 14 mins

    Wales 0-0 Argentina

A first scrum of the afternoon yields a penalty for Wales as Argentina's front row are judged to have brought it down.

Another good early set-piece triumph for Wales.

This penalty is in kickable range for Callum Sheedy, but the Bristol fly-half pushes his 40-yard effort just wide of the far post.

  14. Postpublished at 11 mins

    Wales 0-0 Argentina

Will Rowlands makes amends immediately, doing sterling work to earn Wales a scrum by spoiling Argentina's attempts at a rolling maul.

The maul is a big weapon for the Pumas, so that's a significant early blow for Wales to land.

  15. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Wales 0-0 Argentina

Wales' first attack comes to nothing but, with penalty advantage, they kick to the corner again.

The second time the move breaks down, however, Wales concede a penalty near the Argentina try line as lock Will Rowlands is penalised for crawling on the floor.

The Pumas kick clear and survive that period of Welsh pressure.

Great play from Wales, Hallam Amos in particular, he's so good in the air.

Then a lovely kick through from him and Wales have put the pressure on Argentina here.

    Wales 0-0 Argentina

Great work from Hallam Amos! The Wale full-back rises majestically to catch a towering kick deep into Argentina's half.

Wales' support play is good and, from a follow-up grubber-kick towards the Argentina try line, the home side swarm the covering Pumas defence and earn another penalty.

Callum Sheedy kicks to the corner. Fine chance for Wales here.

  18. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Wales 0-0 Argentina

Wales earn a first penalty of the game a little outside their 22 as Argentina do not release in the tackle.

Callum Sheedy clears well with his kick and Wales will have a line-out inside their opponents' half.

    Wales 0-0 Argentina

Argentina's line-out goes awry, Wales pinch possession and Kieran Hardy is able to kick clear once again.

Argentina kick the ball back and then Wales back row Aaron Wainwright sets off on a barnstorming run through the Pumas' defence.

Wainwright is eventually brought down and Wales lose the ball.

Wales gather the kick-off safely and after scrum-half Kieran Hardy clears up to halfway, Argentina get to work on the ball.

After a few phases they earn a penalty as Wales prop Nicky Smith infringes at a ruck.

Nicolas Sanchez kicks his penalty for a line-out inside the Welsh 22. Promising position for the Pumas.
