    England 41-3 Tonga

England are probing, looking for a gap in the Tonga defence that seems to have regrouped since Jonny May's score. Just over 10 minutes to go at Twickenham.

We're going to the video though, a high tackle has been spotted..

Seems like a lot of people are missing the point with Ford. He's very good yes, but he's mostly likely not in the squad because of Marcus Smith, it's nothing to do with Farrell or Furbank. Smith is also the more likely of anyone to be starting at the World Cup.

Right, scrum for England five metres out.

Ben Youngs feeds it in and the scrum spins left, and that's where England go.

Mark Atkinson is felled in front of the posts, but can't release and Tonga turn it over.

    Apologies, of course you do.

And England have all the authority at Twickenham right now. Tonga are getting a talking to but at least it gives their defence a bit of rest.

Didn't realise I'd stumbled into the AGM of the George Ford fan club... Smith is the future now at 10 for England

Free-flowing stuff from England, you feel there could be a few more tries for them out there.

Alex Dombrandt is involved as the ball is hot-potatoed through hands and eventually comes off the Tonga post.

Jonny May, con Marcus Smith (60 mins)

    Jonny May goes over!

It looked like he had been stopped short of the line, but the England winger unreels his arm out to reach out and prod the ball down over the chalk.

Marcus Smith has a simple kick to add the extras.

Marcus Smith boots to the corner and England have the throw just over five metres from the Tonga line. It comes shooting out the back and Jonny May might have spotted a gap here...

A little kick exchange before Tonga attempt to whisk it wide and England are up like a pack of wolves to hunt it down.

Eddie Jones's side go left, engineering some space for Jonny May and he has a glimpse of the line.

The winger stops just short with a defender for company, tries to flick inside to a team-mate but it goes loose and May was in touch anyway there.

Following on from my previous message, whilst George Furbank has had a decent game and it's been fun watching England try and run the ball, if George Ford was playing now we'd be 60 points ahead rather 29. Ford's exceptional ability to read the game and world class tactical kicking game would have left Tonga on toast. Instead England are locked in an unstructured arm wrestle - it's not bad, but it will never beat South Africa or Australia.

Kyle Sinckler with the no-look offload, it's like having Ronaldinho at prop.

Tonga have a line-out five metres from the England line though, and the hosts have some defending to do. They do it well. Maro Itoje the man getting the head taps and high-fives from his team-mates.

    Ben Youngs (51 mins)

    Ben Youngs is in again!

How has he nabbed that?! It came from a Tonga scrum, and Youngs pickpockets Sione Vailanu after the number eight comes out the back with the ball.

From there it's a clear run to the line from around halfway, but once Youngs opens up no one can catch him. Great score, like the Artful Dodger.

It looks like Marcus Smith is coming on soon. He strips his warm-up bib off on the touchline and does a few final stretches.

    England 29-3 Tonga

Tonga try and run it out from just in front of their own line but eventually decide to hoof clear. A bit scrappy out there at the moment.

    England 29-3 Tonga

Oh dear, Tonga have just welcomed back a sin-bin but now Walter Fifita is heading off for 10 minutes for what was deemed a deliberate knock-on. Harsh? Maybe... but England don't care.

    England 29-3 Tonga

Bit of an arm wrestle in the middle as Tonga throw bodies into the England defence, before Kurt Morath dinks a grubber through the line. The trusty Freddie Steward is there though, punting it back to get Tonga turning and racing up to chase it too.

A load of fans have got their phone torches on, waving them above their heads as they sing Swing Low.

Rugby match or U2 concert? Nice vibe anyway.
