I am fascinated to see how Sadia Kabeya goes in the number seven shirt. Marlie Packer was man of the match against Scotland last week so she has big shoes to fill. And obviously you can't not mention Mo Hunt in that nine shirt as well.

Now then, both sets of players have made their way to the field.

We're all set for the final game in matchday two of this year's Women's Six Nations.

But first, let's hear the anthems.

"I don't remember losing, definitely not in that first year. It was a pretty dominant team."

Helena Rowland could be talking about England.

Since she made her Red Roses debut in November 2020, she has won all 11 Tests she has played.

But instead the 22-year-old is remembering a different team. One with several of the same members, but from several years before.

Welwyn are not troubling the top of the game. Their men's first XV are currently pushing for promotion from London Three North West in England's eighth tier. Their women's team also play in the lower reaches.

But, in the middle of the last decade, something special was brewing on the back pitches in Hertfordshire.

    BBC Two

Speaking to BBC Two ahead of the game, England head coach Simon Middleton said the returning Natasha Hunt has been "buzzing" in training.

"She is a high quality player," said Middleton. "She has brought loads to training in the last few weeks and it's great to have her back in. She has been buzzing and in good form in the Premier 15s.

"It's good conditions here today and it's a fast track so she will be injecting some pace into the game, no doubt."

  6. England to 'expect the unexpected'published at 14:48 British Summer Time 3 April 2022

    Italy v England (15:00 BST)

Prop Vickii Cornborough says England must be braced for Italy's unpredictable style of play on Sunday.

England opened their Women's Six Nations title defence with a 57-5 victory over Scotland, while Italy faded to a 39-6 defeat by France after a solid first half away in Grenoble.

"Italy love, open broken play, their style of play really rattled France," said Cornborough.

"We have to make sure we expect the unexpected."

England's jaunt to Parma is the final action of round two, with yesterday serving up 14 tries, a second dramatic Welsh comeback of the championship and an ominious statement of intent from France.

France ran out 40-5 winners over Ireland in Toulouse with scrum-half Laure Sansus touching down for two of the home team's six tries.

Later on Saturday, Wales recovered from 19-7 down shortly after half-time to snatch a dramatic win. Ffion Lewis cantered over for the decisive try in the 76th minute and then saw her side hold out in the shadow of their own posts to spark some serious scenes.

England's dominance is plain to see in their recent results - 57-5, 89-0, 51-12, 56-15.

It has been almost a year since the Red Roses have won by fewer than 30 points but, when asked if his side will ease up, head coach Simon Middleton only laughed.

"Oh no, that will never happen," he chuckled.

England did not become world number ones by slowing down, nor have they claimed three Women's Six Nations titles in a row by going easy on their opponents.
