That was so patient. Brilliant from Australia. They have been in England's 22 twice and scored twice. England ran out of numbers.

    HT: Australia 7-19 England

    Chris Ashton
Former England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

That is as good a half from England we've seen for 18 months. They have been near perfect but Australia will get chances to come back into the game.

We've had the shock of Maro Itoje going off and England will need to make sure they start the second half as they did the first.

  12. Half-time - Australia 7-19 Englandpublished at 12:01 British Summer Time 9 July 2022

Great finish from Tupou but that was unnecessary from Sam Underhill to give the penalty away.

How do you stop Tupou that close to the line? You have to put four players against him! There's no answer to it given the size of the man!

  15. try

You don't stop him from there.

Australia surge into the England 22 for the first time and it's thrown to Taniela Tupou.

The prop smashes his way through a couple of white shirts and the hosts are on the board.

    Noah Lolesio adds the conversion.
