If you're an English fan or coach you have to respect Italy. They will throw the ball around - maybe it'll be a bit further up the pitch if they learn from this game - but they have the pace and the players like Ange Capuozzo that can cause you harm.

A huge hit comes in on Michele Lamaro as Italy try and run the ball out of their own half.
They penetrate the French half with a great line break but Stephen Varney's kicks away and hands it to the French. Wasted ball there.
But France do not find touch and Italy come again.

France are there to press again with a clean line-out. They win an advantage with Italy offside and France run it through the team. The referee comes back to the advantage as France spill the ball. France point to the sticks.

France are out of the blocks quickly and look to snuff out the growing Italian momentum. They are patient through the phases but Damian Penaud says enough is enough and chips the ball.
Stephen Varney does well to come across to gather the ball to stop the lethal winger.

We've seen this so many times with Italy at home that they are in the game at half-time, but the opposition bench comes on in the second half and they add to the side but the Italian bench comes on and doesn't add anything.
The French will come out firing and the last 20 minutes will be really tough.
