Andrew Priestley: Another week, another ludicrous Ange Capuozzo try-scoring finish
Well, what a match! France started the brighter but Italy have kept the scoreboard ticking and are within five at the break.
France have three tries and Italy have a try and three penalties! It is all to play for.
Tommaso Allan
He gets it!
Italy 11-19 France
France give away another penalty in their defence and referee Matthew Carley has warned Antoine Dupont about their discipline.
Tommaso Allan lines up for a penalty.
Italy 11-19 France
Italy win another penalty as Damian Penaud was offside, Tommaso Allan clear their lines.
The hosts then win a penalty at the line-out with Charles Ollivon jumping too early. Allan kick to the corner and they go short at the line-out. Can they score here?
Italy 11-19 France
It was a loose restart from Italy and France get the ball but Romain Ntamack spills it! Italy use it quickly and Ange Capuozzo again makes some metres - what a player he is.
Capuozzo tries a high ball but Ntamack collects and kicks away. The kicking game comes into play but it is France who blink first and decide to run it. Gael Fickou kicks through to try and find Damian Penaud but it goes out of play.

He gets his feet in the air, it's a brilliant try.
Stephen Varney spotted the defenders were over the other side and he puts Ange Capuozzo in. It's a wonderful finish, he gets his right hand down before his left hand touches the sideline. A great try for the Italians.
Ange Capuozzo
What. A. Finish.
Stephen Varney peels off the back of a scrum and passes to Ange Capuozzo. Gregory Alldritt tried a last ditch tackle but Capuozzo finished off a one-hand dot down.
Tommaso Allan misses the conversion.
Italy work it fast and if Ange Capuozzo has that down it is a superb finish!
Italy 6-19 France
Uini Atonio is okay to continue and Italy kick to the corner.
The line-out this time is good and they are edging closer to the try line. They get the advantage and they could try something here and they do, Juan Ignacio Brex kicks crossfield but it goes dead.
Tommaso Allan kicks to the corner, they want a try here.
Italy 6-19 France
Charles Ollivon steals the line-out, he read the Italian play perfectly.
However, Italy win a breakdown penalty with France offside. They need to start running the ball through multiple phases and be clinical with their passes now, they can unlock the French defence with some patience.
Uini Atonio is down injured so there's a light break in play.

That is an unbelievable bit of skill from Ntamack. His kick was pinpoint accuracy.
Ethan Dumortier (Thomas Ramos)
A try on his debut!
France were playing on advantage because of a high tackle so Romain Ntamack tries his luck. He pops his kick into the corner and Ethan Dumortier collects to dot down. This is all France.
Italy 6-12 France
My heart went in my mouth there! Antoine Dupont charged down a powerful kick by Tommaso Allan but luckily for the hosts the ball goes dead.
France are quickly back in attack though, a common theme in this match. But Italy wrestle it back! Stephen Varney tries a chip over the top but it falls to French hands. Possession is exchanging hands but France are edging closer!
Tommaso Allan
Cheers are deafening as the kick slots straight through! Italy are right back in this.
Italy 3-12 France
Italy are into France's 22 for the first time with Ange Capuozzo's fast hands producing some brilliance. They are pulled back to an advantage and Tommaso Allan looks to kick once more.

From the replays it didn't look awfully different from Ollivon's grounding that was disallowed but this one has been given. There were a few boos from the Italian fans.
Thomas Ramos
It is a try! He has downward pressure, just.
Thomas Ramos cannot convert his own try.
France win a scrum penalty and they kick to the corner, they are on the hunt for their second score.
They form a maul but again Italy stop the set-piece. The ball is pinged into the corner and Thomas Ramos eventually grounds it. But there is an altercation before he dots it down. Is it a try?
Italy 3-7 France
Fast hands from France sees them in attack once more but Italy are a well-oiled defence machine at the moment. If anyone is going to find a hole in the defence though it is Damian Penaud and he makes great metres!
But he knocks on and Italy can breathe again.
