Former Ireland fly-half on BBC Radio Ulster
A lot of the first half has been a kicking duel. If Ireland continue to kick it will be harder to take advantage of the extra man so they have to change their mindset. The Sheehan try was obviously something Ireland had identified and there is nothing sweeter than when you work on something like that and it comes half.

I think the red card has changed what was an intriguing game of rugby and I can't see England surviving this. The game has pretty much been decided by that red card. It wasn't a red card for me, I thought worse case scenario it was a yellow.

Dave Bookham: For all the efforts England are putting in, they may as well not bother for all the silly penalties they are giving away. That still hasn’t changed under new management!

England captain Owen Farrell's two penalties gave the visitors an unexpected 6-0 lead early on.
Johnny Sexton became the leading points scorer in the men's Six Nations as he cut the deficit to 6-3.
Then Dan Sheehan scored Ireland's first try to put them on track for the Grand Slam.
To make matters worse for England, Freddie Steward was shown a red card for a dangerous clash with Hugo Keenan just before half-time.

By the protocol, he is going to get done. In my opinion it is a rugby incident, it happens but once he goes to the protocol it is not going to go good. Steward had played well and they will miss him.

The officials are showing a lack of understanding of the game. I can't disagree with how the contact is a red but it is the context of how it went to that contact. He is stepping and slowing and turning to get out of the contact area, and has been punished by being sent off. It is a mockery.
He was doing his utmost best to avoid any kind of contact. It is an utter farce.

I'm very surprised at the colour of the card but I do think it merited a card as it was a tackle you cannot defend. There are so many things that went wrong in that half - the occasion has got to the Ireland players and they have not produced the performance we hoped, but they are still in control.
Ireland, with the man advantage, kick for touch as they attempt to turn the screw from the line-out.
The ball is moved off the top and into midfield but England stand firm and that will be that for the first-half.
It's been breathless.
Ireland 10-6 England
I said Freddie Steward was in trouble and he has just received his marching orders.
The England full-back pulls out of the tackle but his elbow makes contact with Hugo Keenan's head and that is enough to be shown a red card.
It's an uphill battle for the visitors now.
Ireland 10-6 England
Ireland have grown in confidence since scoring the try and they doing the basics well in attack.
They spill the ball forward after making the break but Hugo Keenan is taken out and he takes a moment to come back to his senses.
Freddie Steward could be in trouble here.
Ireland 10-6 England
England try to bring Henry Arundell into the game but there isn't much room for him to work his magic and Ireland wrap him up.
That is one way to nullify the threat.

Andrew Priestley: A beautifully executed lineout set-play. A yawning chasm in the English defensive line.

The atmosphere has been a little subdued for most of the first half.
Not anymore.
That was an epic roar to greet Dan Sheehan's score, which the vast majority of those inside the stadium hope will give Ireland lift-off.

If you wanted a try from heaven to settle the nerves then we have just witnessed it. A wonderful pre-rehearsed move, nothing was going to stop Sheehan crossing the line.

You cannot give them opportunities at lineouts, Paul O'Connell has coached them within an inch of their lives. Dan Sheehan might as well be an extra back row, give him space like that and you are not stopping him.
Dan Sheehan (con Johnny Sexton)
Ireland have lift off!
It's a move straight off the training paddock as Ireland set up to attack wide from the line-out before the flat pass back inside.
Dan Sheehan is the recipient of that pass and the hooker has too much power from there. Manu Tuilagi cannot stop him and Ireland take the lead for the first time.
Johnny Sexton adds the conversion.

These penalties are going to ruin all the hard work England are putting in. It is so frustrating.
Ireland 3-6 England
England are racing up off the line but they are penalised for being offside.
They have been the better side so far but their lead is just three points.
