Whoever makes it through this one will face the winner of today's second semi-final, which sees East Midlands rivals Leicester and Northampton go head-to-head.

Steve Borthwick's Tigers led the way for the entire season, winning 20 out of their 24 matches and ending up on top of the Premiership at the end of the regular season.

They face a Saints side who secured fourth spot on the final day of the season after winning the battle with a host of other sides who had been vying for the final playoff place.

Chris Boyd's men finished 19 points behind the Tigers but as the second highest scorers in the league they have more than enough firepower to beat their rivals on their home turf this afternoon.

There was a lot of chat before the game about Saracens resting players and Harlequins playing their big guns last weekend, and it's how that has an impact.

It's the Harlequins players who are the ones who are down at the minute, they're taking their breaks when they can. It's relentless.

Since the yellow card, Quins have lost their direction and a little bit of impetus and Saracens have capitalised.

It was a key moment because before then Quins fancied their chances from everywhere.

Much better from Harlequins, down a man, who drive to the Sarries 22.

But Ben Earl wins his hit and Quins are forced into conceding a penalty. It'll be a Saracens scrum inside their own half.

Saracens thoroughly deserved that score, it was phase after phase.

Harlequins were up against it, on the ropes, they were being clattered, didn't know where to defend.

There were so many options for Sarries to score, it was only a matter of time.

    This one will count!

Maro Itoje can't quite get over but Ben Earl recycles well, feeding Owen Farrell.

The England man is bought down but has the awareness to pop the ball up to Nick Tompkins who crosses unchallenged.

    Farrell's conversion is good.

Has Walker tackled Farrell head-to-head? Farrell is bleeding from the ear. The referee is checking this.

    OOF.

Danny Care takes out Ben Earl and thinks he's forced a penalty. But Alex Dombrandt is offside.

Owen Farrell kicks Sarries' penalty into the corner and his side will have great field position.
