The whole Fijian back line drifts, Hastings holds onto the ball and it's a great finish under the sticks. You can hear the relief in the crowd.

Well, Scotland have been under the pump for all but the first five and final five minutes of that first half.

But, somehow, they lead. Tries from George Turner and Adam Hastings came either side of scores from Tuicuvu and Rotuisolia for Fiji.

    It's game on at Murrayfield.

    Adam Hastings

    Scotland strike back!

It's a huge scrum and then Ali Price shovels it on to Hastings.

Four blue jerseys go outside the fly-half and he shapes to give one of them the ball, but then checks back inside and goes under the posts.

His conversion is good and calm is restored in Scotland ranks.

    Scotland 7-12 Fiji

The front row take the game by the scruff of the neck.

Ashman, Schoman, and then Fagerson make big yards. Then, it's the turn of the backs.

It's worked nicely out to the right, and the final pass is behind Darcy Graham and the winger is nailed in the tackle.

Scotland have a penalty anyway. They go for the scrum in front of the sticks.

Scotland have been in their own half for an eternity.

Finally they get out, and it's in the hands of the gigantic winger Duhan van der Merwe who hares up to the 22.

He's hauled into touch, though. At the lineout, Scotland disrupt and haul Fiji into touch. Better.

There are back slaps and relieved faces as Levani Botia fumbles on the deck.

Scotland's scramble defence has been good. Just a shame about the terrible discipline putting them on the back foot.

Stuart Hogg is about to return from the bin.

Gregor Townsend had better hope that Fiji blow themselves out here because Scotland are being dominated. The first two Fiji attacks of any note brought two tries.

They almost had a third one in attack number three. Scotland's discipline is awful again. This is utterly feeble from them so far. If this doesn't improve quickly then even the genteel Murrayfield will grow angry.

Try - Scotland 7-12 Fijipublished at 22 mins

    Ratu Leone Rotuisolia

A yellow card and now a try 22 minutes into his debut for Rotuisolia!

Scotland are pinged again, and with the advantage Fiji make them pay.

It's just a matter of time before they barge over, and Rotuisolia is the man under the bodies with the ball.

Vilimoni Botitu nails the touchline conversion. And Stuart Hogg is binned for consistent Scotland penalties.

A horror show from the home side.

    Scotland 7-5 Fiji

Scotland have just been pinged for offside for the third time already. That's six penalties in total. Discipline has been a damaging issue for them in recent weeks.

Fiji can kick up into Scotland territory.

    Scotland 7-5 Fiji

It's all a bit scrappy as Scotland lose out at the maul as George Turner spills in a frantic bid to use the ball.

Scotland get it back, but then Chris Harris is done for an illegal clear out after Stuart Hogg was snagged.

Fiji miss touch. On we go...

    Scotland 7-5 Fiji

Scotland look for a response and Darcy Graham is put down the short side and makes a good 20 yards.

Scotland recycle, but Adam Hastings puts a kick in behind. There was space to attack there...

Anyway, Scotland have the lineout and recycle. Duhan van der Merwe is then thumped into next week by winger Vinaya Habosi. Ouch.

It all looked so simple. If anyone was in any doubt about the danger Fiji pose with ball in hand, there's your answer.

Try - Scotland 7-5 Fijipublished at 13:17 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2022

    Setareki Tuicuvu

The visitors strike just as Ratu Leone Rotuisolia returns from the bin.

They truck up the ball a few times, and then a lovely move out wide which involves a miss pass ends with Tuicuvu powering in at the corner.

Clinical. Not so much off the tee, and Tuicuvu sclaffs the conversion.

    Still, some finish.

  19. Missed penalty - Scotland 7-0 Fijipublished at 11 mins

    Setareki Tuicuvu

It's a shank from Fiji winger Tuicuvu and Scotland are let off the hook.

They're done for offside again, though. Really poor from the home side.
