It's a gorgeous day in Edinburgh, but that glaring sunshine might prove problematic for anyone looking to field a high-ball!

Today was meant to be a wee bit warmer after this week's cold snap, but you wouldn't know it thanks to the bitingly cold wind sweeping across Edinburgh.

Good to see the punters have got plenty of layers on.

Castres are a top-quality outfit - they finished first in the Top 14 at the end of the regular 2021-22 season, losing 29-10 to Montpellier in the competition's final.

However, after they opened their European campaign with a loss away to Exeter, they have made 13 changes to their starting XV.

Edinburgh will fancy their chances against what is essentially a second string side.

Mike Blair makes four changes to the side that pushed Saracens all the way last time out.

WP Nel and Glen Young come into the pack in place of Luan de Bruin and Jamie Hodgson; Matt Currie replaces Mark Bennett in the centres, and there is a late change on the wing - Duhan van der Merwe misses out, so Damien Hoyland starts.
