Glasgow have possession, but can't really go anywhere with it before Stafford McDowall slices a kick straight into touch.

    Edinburgh 20-12 Glasgow

Harry Paterson, who struggled at Scotstoun last week, does wonderfully well here to evade a tackle and then drive his legs to get Edinburgh over the gain-line.

The ball goes forward in the next phase though, and Glasgow have a scrum.

    Edinburgh 20-12 Glasgow

Edinburgh are on the front foot early in this second half.

Some strong carries from Bill Mata and co take the hosts into the Glasgow 22, but Fraser Brown gets over the ball to win the visitors a penalty.

Some much needed defensive solidity from the veteran hooker.

That's what will infuriate Franco Smith - the little errors that are putting Glasgow under pressure.

What Glasgow need to do is cut them out. The breakdown has been untidy; there's always a belief that you can get to Ali Price for a charge-down.

If it wasn't for Sione Tuipulotu, they wouldn't have had anything in attack.

It's Edinburgh who have the edge and have the aggression. They must have had 60% possession.

Glasgow will be annoyed with their performance, but delighted they're only eight points behind.

Edinburgh have been far better, stung by their non-performance last week.

Tom Jordan knocks-on as Sione Tuipulotu looks to find him with a disguised pass out the back.

There's just about enough time remaining in the half for the resulting Edinburgh scrum.

Don't you just love the affection that Peter Wright, and indeed all prop forwards, have for backs...

What worries me about that score is that Kyle Steyn came out of the bottom of that maul - you can just imagine him taking all the credit.

  11. try

    Matt Fagerson

    And over they go!

Just as it was for Edinburgh, it's a rolling maul that does the damage.

Matt Fagerson crashes over to cut the gap, before Tom Jordan drags his conversion attempt wide.

    Game on!

    Edinburgh 17-7 Glasgow

That Crosbie try also takes Edinburgh into an aggregate lead in the battle for the 1872 Cup.

Glasgow want to change that though - they are on the attack for the first time in a fair while here.

The Warriors have a lineout deep in Edinburgh territory...

    It's been frustrating for Glasgow.

Last week they were in control, but this week it's flipped on its head. Glasgow are making mistakes - they just need to calm it down a bit.

  14. converted try

    Luke Crosbie

    Yes they can!

It all comes from a lineout, which will please the Edinburgh coaching staff - so often it has let them down this season.

Maverick Tom Cruse finds Sam Skinner again, and the resulting maul marches forward over the Glasgow line, with Luke Crosbie diving over.

As you'd expect, Emiliano Boffelli kicks the conversion.

    Edinburgh 10-7 Glasgow

Edinburgh are the side taking the initiative in this game.

Sam Skinner climbs highest to claim a lineout, and the hosts make their way into the Glasgow 22.

Can they take advantage and stretch their lead?

Tom Jordan kicks to touch and so Edinburgh will have a lineout just inside their own half.

Here's a look at the game's two tries so far, as we wait for the game to resume.

Duhan van der Merwe races onto a reverse pass from Henry Pyrgos, and looks the odds-on favourite to score.

However, Sebastian Cancelliere does superbly to hold the enormous Scotland winger up over the line.

Edinburgh aren't the only team with an Argentine star in their back three.

Edinburgh are turning the screw now.

A clever little grubber kick from James Lang turns the Glasgow defence, and Duhan van der Merwe drags Ollie Smith over the line to win the hosts a 5m scrum.

    Huge chance coming up...

    Edinburgh 7-7 Glasgow

    Oh hello, Bill Mata.

He's so dangerous in broken play, the big Fijian.

Glasgow miss the initial tackle after he gathers a loose ball, and Mata opens up his stride to gallop into the visitors' 22.

The scrambling defence then fly into the side of a ruck, and Edinburgh win a penalty.
