    Oh so nearly for Scotland.

I'm not sure they do, Bobby.

Cheslin Kolbe does though. He gets open ground to run into, and beats a few Scotland defenders like they weren't there. Finn Russell hauls him down and prevents a third South African try.

Dave Cherry's throw misses its mark, but South Africa knock on, and Scotland get a reprieve.

Ben White and Sione Tuipulotu make way for Ali Price and Cam Redpath, but they can't get their hands on the ball, because WP Nel is pinged for collapsing at the scrum.

The Springboks are beating Scotland up at the set-piece.

You feel Scotland probably had to score from that passage of play to stand any chance.

Scotland tried to go quickly, and Darcy Graham scores in the corner, but the officials say he did so with the wrong ball, and so we will reset.

Bongi Mbonambi's lineout throw isn't straight, and so Scotland now have the honours.

And there's Finn Russell - the Scotland fly-half drops a sumptuous kick over the top for a 50-22, so Scotland now have a lineout inside South Africa's 22.

    Big chance...

Dismantled. Coming up against the Springboks you need to front up.

The Springboks shove Scotland off the ball - that's a big penalty.

We have talked about the blitz defence, and a counter ruck generates the turnover.

Then it's perfect execution on the cross-field kick.

    Kurt-Lee Arendse

    South Africa go bang bang!

It's stunning from Manie Libbok - the fly-half spots the space in behind Duhan van der Merwe, and drops a pinpoint no-look cross-field kick into the arms of Kurt-Lee Arendse.

The little flier doesn't have to break stride as he races away to score in the corner.

Faf de Klerk takes over kicking duties, and nails the conversion from out wide. It's a long way back now for Scotland.

Pete: No consistency. If Curry was red so should Kriels be.

Anon: Game is won and lost in when they want to use the TMO and when they don't.

Duncan: Why can't the South African player be sent off at half time if the TMO has now seen the footage of the head-on-head collision? Would give Scotland the advantage now rather than the player just getting banned for a game after the match.

Nigel: Hang in there, ride it out, then strike hard.
