To be honest there was no yellow card incident there, I think Arendse and Russell both were trying to get out the way.

The penalty goes South Africa's way after the TMO deems that Finn Russell didn't use his arms when tackling Kurt-Lee Arendse.

The challenge on Pierre Schoeman wasn't looked at though.

Angus Gardner awards Scotland a free-kick, and they go wide quickly.

Darcy Graham steps past a couple of tackles, and then Pierre Schoeman is taken out by Kurt-Lee Arendse before the ball gets to him - that's naughty.

In slightly scary news for Scotland fans, Finn Russell has taken a blow in the ribs, and looks to be in a wee bit of bother.

Pieter-Steph du Toit loses possession from the restart, and Scotland will have a scrum in a promising position.

South Africa are at their best when they play with structure. They need to contain Finn Russell, don't give him space to work in.

An attempted box kick from Ben White is charged down, but Blair Kinghorn just about hacks a kick downfield.

South Africa just aren't giving Scotland any time to breathe.

Malcolm Marx has taken a blow and is bleeding, so Bongi Mbonambi is on while the starting South African hooker gets cleaned up.

Scotland need to sort out their lineout. Twice now they have overthrown in a decent position that they should have exploited and they have gone begging.

You have got to take those opportunities.

You can see the blitz defence from the Springboks is so harsh, they are taking time away from Finn Russell. It is so difficult to play into a blitz defence.

South Africa's defensive is scarily quick, but they stray offside on this occasion.

Again, Scotland's lineout goes astray though, and a decent chance to attack slips away.
