Fiji head coach Simon Raiwalui on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra: "Firstly congratulations to Georgia, they came out and were firing. We were lucky to only be down nine points at half-time.

"The support has been brilliant we were put to the sword in the first half due to a great Georgian team so we have to get better."

On half-time team talk: "It was getting back to the basics we were not respecting the ball and as I said we were lucky to only be 9-0 down."

Georgia captain Mikheil Nariashvili on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra: "I am proud of my team unfortunately it was not enough. Congratulations to Fiji it was a good game for them.

"We will continue to fight for the next game, I am sure all the players which get on the field and show this country at the best."

Fiji's Levani Botia on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra: "So proud of the boys we had a difficult time in the first half. We gave away opportunities, but thankfully the boys comeback in the second half.

"One thing about us Fijians, we love to keep the ball alive."

Georgia are out after that defeat, Australia survive for now - but only just, and Fiji will go through if they avoid defeat by Portugal in their final match.

Oh what an opportunity Georgia had. It had looked like the game had gone away from them, the space did open up and they just could not execute it.

They kicked it away, Fiji just hacked it clear. All over the ground Georgian players are exhausted and heartbroken.

Fiji are hunting another. They inch into the Georgian redzone with fewer than three minutes to go.

It's slipping away from Georgia. They were 9-0 up against 14-man Fiji at the start of this half remember.

It had to be. A handling error costs Georgia five metres out. Fiji are almost there.

A not releasing call against Fiji gives Georgia a sniff. They kick to touch and will have a big chance at reducing the deficit.

Ten minutes to go. A win for Fiji would put them on the cusp of the World Cup quarter-finals, but there would still be work to do next week against Portugal.

Failure to collect a bonus point would keep Australia clinging on to their World Cup place by their fingertips.
