And England have completed their preparations for the WXV1 tournament with a hard-earned victory over a Canada side reduced to 14 in the first half.

Wales have warmed up for the inaugural WXV1 tournament with a dominant six-tries-to three victory against USA in Colwyn Bay.

Only a win will do for Scotland against minnows Romania later on today.

Next week's final pool match against Ireland looms large, but Romania must be seen off first to keep their hopes of a quarter-final spot alive.

What a game we have here!

It has been a fantastic 40 minutes of rugby, we wondered when Fiji was going to start to play.

Georgia have played well and capitalised, they ran Wales so close and have beaten Australia but at the end of the day it was inches away from Georgia coming away with seven more points.

What a finish to the half! Fiji's Ilaisa Droasese breaks the line but the Georgian full-back holds him up. Then a handling error sets Georgia up on the counter.

Tornike Jalagonia just needs to find the winger, unopposed on the touchline, but his pass is forward!

Georgia had an opportunity there for a try and they panicked a bit - unable to execute.

If they had got a score then the points difference in the table would be looking pretty significant.

Georgia flick the switch and drive forward. Luka Matkava is sitting in the pocket and attempts a drop goal, but his effort is sliced and goes just wide.

Our match has slowed down a touch as Georgia stay patient in midfield.

Well done Georgia. Having gone through the defence they get one opportunity and BANG it is another three points!

Another Georgia penalty and they go for goal from way out again.

Davit Niniashvili is in some form though and his kick is never in doubt. The winger sneaks the ball just inside the right post to stretch Georgia's lead.
