That may not be pleasant viewing for Argentina but their two wins came recently in 2020 and 2022.

The match in 2020 was Argentina's first Test in 13 months.

The Pumas led 16-3 at the break and kept New Zealand at bay to secure a famous and shock 25-15 win in Sydney.

Despite losing their opening game to hosts France, New Zealand have been convincing ever since.

Topped with one of their great performances to beat Ireland in the quarter-finals.

New Zealand defended for a final 37 phases to help seal a narrow 28-24 victory.

Argentina also lost their opening game, after 27 points from the boot of England's George Ford.

They recovered to reach the knockouts before beating Wales 29-17 in Marseille.

It has not been easy for this New Zealand team back home. But that is when this team can solidify and unite, and then look at it in a different way – that this could be one of the greatest All Black chapters.

Not going into the World Cup as the top-ranked side with everyone writing them off and now they can go – ‘want to talk about legacy here is a moment.’

What makes me more excited and confident is how they just got back to their work this week. They were genuine in resetting back to zero and they have to start again.

We know it does not just happen easy in World Cups, us All Blacks have been hurt too many times in the past.

In 139 years, just over 1,200 men have worn the shirt of one of rugby's most fabled and dominant teams - the All Blacks.

Their practices and cultures have become a byword for success, not just in sport, but in the wider world.

They are outstanding. But when you first join that hallowed club, the last thing you want to do is stand out.

"On my first day I was excited, but also terrified," says Richard Kahui, remembering his arrival in camp as a 23-year-old in 2008.

"I didn't want to be a disappointment - not be late to a meeting, or drop a ball in training.

"The first thing you do is meet the team manager, get your room key and all the new kit. That is as exciting as Christmas."
