Glasgow are pinged around the 10m line, just in their half. The problem is they're up against Camille Lopez and he sniffs an opportunity.

It's an enormous boot from the veteran French 10 and he knocks it over the sticks.

There's a few Bayonne changes, including Australian utility back Reece Hodge. Not a bad sub to bring on.

It is a good start to the half, they look really threatening but those are opportunities you have got to take.

A huge break from Huw Jones gets Glasgow right up the pitch. Zander Fagerson has the ball in the 22m, but again Bayonne turnover deep in their own half.

Another foray into French territory comes to naught.

I think Franco Smith will be disappointed with a lot of things, but will be happy they are still in the game.

Somehow after all that, we've seen only 15 points scored. I don't know how, really. This has been a phenomenal game of rugby.

Breathless, frantic, but maybe a little too loose when it's mattered.

At one point, it looked like Bayonne might run away with the game but Glasgow pegged them back when Ally Miller decided to do his best Usain Bolt impression and left Nadir Megdoud in the dust on the wing.

He's tried to run that off, but a shake of the head confirms Ollie Smith's race is run. That's the sensible thing. Tom Jordan is on... I wonder if that'll re-jig the backline.

You don't want to see that replay too many times. It just does not look nice at all.

Oooooh that looked nasty for Ollie Smith. He was haring up the pitch and went to step inside, but his knee completely buckled underneath him, dropping the ball before he was even in contact.

He's in serious discomfort. The poor fella. You hate to see that.

Jamie Bhatti concedes the penalty in the red zone and it's another opportunity for Bayonne. The pace and intensity of this game is absolutely insane.

It's so loose at the moment - and it's suiting the hosts. They go for the corner.

He's not going for the corner this time - and the forwards will probably thank him. They've just chased a wee winger up the pitch.

Camille Lopez slots the kick and we finally have a score.

I cannot keep up with this game. Ross Thompson somehow keeps a kick in and Tom Spring slaps it back to keep it in and then passes to Nadir Megdoud.

The winger produces three audacious steps and gets Bayonne all the way up to just outside Glasgow's 22m before Fagerson is pinged for hands in the ruck. Off he goes!

Another mistake from the rolling maul! That's three opportunities that Glasgow have passed up. Franco Smith will be absolutely seething.

Kyle Rowe somehow keeps the ball when Bayonne clear, but it's then turned over again by Bayonne in the Glasgow 22m.

This game is end-to-end, but no one wants to score!

That is absolutely sensational from Glasgow. They win a penalty deep in their own territory and French back-chat means they march up the field.

Sione Tuipulotu stabs a kick through and the kick-chase from the Warriors is ferocious. They're swarming the Bayonne attackers, they smell blood in the water and they eventually win the turnover.

Now they kick to the corner.

It is going to be tough. Glasgow are going to have to do something special to take this Bayonne defence down.

Glasgow manage to work their way into the Bayonne 22m, but Junior Tagi makes a huge turnover when Zander Fagerson is crunched in contract. That's superb from the big Fijian.
