  1. See you next time!published at 18:56 British Summer Time 20 April

    FT: Italy 10-17 Scotland

Well, there you have it. They never like to make it easy, do they? Bryan Easson's side head to third in the table and are in the driving seat heading into the final Six Nations weekend.

It was tough at times in Parma, with both sides struggling to click, but it was Scotland who eventually made it work and produced three stunning scores.

Emma Orr got the second that sparked Scotland towards a historic first win on Italian soil since 1999 - when Orr hadn't even been born.

They head to Ravenhill in Belfast next weekend to try and claim a third tournament win and crown themselves as the best of the rest.

    We'll see you then!

    Scotland scrum-half on BBC Scotland

It's just brilliant. This team continue to break boundaries and make history, it seems like every week at the moment.

I'm proud of them because it's difficult to bounce back after a heavy loss but they've done a job against a good Italian side when history was against them.

In the second half, Scotland were a little more patient with the ball in Italy's 22m, and more clinical. It was great to our wingers making line-breaks.

  4. SCOTLAND WIN IN ITALY FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1999published at 18:38 British Summer Time 20 April

    FT: Italy 10-17 Scotland

The whistle blows! Scotland have done it! History is made!

Chloe Rollie's try ends up being the difference.

Scotland were just more clinical in the second half, scoring two tries and shutting Italy out. They made hard, hard work of that - but it's a second Six Nations win.

They now have a chance of going to Ireland next week and getting a third - a feat they've not achieved since 2005.

Beatrice Rigoni boots it inside Scotland's 22m. Can they salvage a draw?

The throw in is lost forward!

  6. Tense finale...published at 79 mins

    Italy 10-17 Scotland

Penalty to Italy! Dangerous clear out from Chloe Rollie. Italy go for the corner. There's 20 seconds left, so it's sure to be the last play.

Meanwhile, Maggie Cogger-Orr is going to the TV screen. Rollie could be in trouble here. It'll be a yellow, and could move to a red on review.

Either way, Scotland will end with 14 players.

    Italy 10-17 Scotland

Chloe Rollie bursts through the Italian line but Scotland don't make the most of it. Instead, Italy win a penalty from the line-out and they're into the Scotland half.

This is really tense stuff. Who cares about the bonus point try now?

  8. Skeldon wins match awardpublished at 76 mins

    Italy 10-17 Scotland

Elis Martin, Fi McIntosh and Meryl Smith are on for the Scots as they go forward after an Evie Gallagher turn-over.

Scotland are desperate for another score to make this more comfortable. Meanwhile, Lana Skeldon is awarded player of the match!

  9. Penalty to Italy...published at 73 mins

    Italy 10-17 Scotland

Sara Tounesi bursts up the pitch, swatting off Rhona Lloyd like a fly. The Italians win a penalty, and Beatrice Rigoni points to the sticks.

She nudges it clean over and it's a seven-point game. Interesting decision from the hosts, there.

    Italy 7-17 Scotland

Scotland need one more try for a bonus point but more importantly, if they hold on to win - it would be a first win in Italy for 25 years.

This team have made history already in this tournament - can they do it again?

  11. try

Try Italy 7-17 SCOTLANDpublished at 69 mins

    Chloe Rollie

Scotland have the ball on the Italy line, but the Italy defence is driving them back at every opportunity.

Finally, Helen Nelson gets back and it takes one step inside from Chloe Rollie to put her through and over the line.

Scotland's pocket rocket gives Scotland a far more comfortable lead - but Nelson can't add the extras.

    Italy 7-12 Scotland

It's another break down the left from Francesca McGhie but she can't get the ball away to Rachel Malcolm - the Scotland skipper would have been in there.

Scotland won that ball from another Louise McMillan line-out steal. What a performance from the Saracens lock.

  13. try

Try Italy 7-12 SCOTLANDpublished at 63 mins

    Emma Orr

Scotland have the lead for the first time!

It all comes from the boot of Lisa Thomson, which puts the Italians under real pressure. Rhona Lloyd chases down, the ruck is formed but there's no Italians there!

Emma Orr races in and picks the ball up, cantering in! A brilliant steal from Scotland's brilliant centre.

    Italy 7-7 Scotland

A couple of changes for Scotland - Mairi McDonald and Rachel McLachlan enter the fray.

The physicality in this game is huge.

  15. Postpublished at 57 mins

    Italy 7-7 Scotland

Scotland run the playbook from a scrum and Emma Orr pierces the Italy defence. She looks outside for Rhona Lloyd instead of inside to the free Lisa Thomson, and Lloyd - incredibly - doesn't back herself on the outside.

    Huge chance gone.

  16. Postpublished at 56 mins

    Italy 7-7 Scotland

Scotland steal an Italy line-out - a fourth steal of the tournament for Louise McMillan.

Lisa Thomson booms the ball downfield with a huge kick and it's a few inches short of a 50-22.

  17. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Italy 7-7 Scotland

Scotland go to the bench for the first time, and it's the two props who make way. On comes Leah Bartlett and Elliann Clarke for Christine Belisle and Molly Wright.

Their first job is a scrum in the middle of the park - and they win a penalty. Brilliant from the replacements.

  18. Close call!published at 51 mins

    Italy 7-7 Scotland

Caity Mattinson's clearing kick is closed down and Chloe Rollie saves Scotland's bacon.

It was Giordana Duca who looked to plunder on the loose ball but Rollie got her body between ball and player to deny the Italian.

  19. Postpublished at 46 mins

    Italy 7-7 Scotland

The second half begins as the first half started - errors aplenty. Caity Mattinson has two in a short period of time, conceding two throw ins around the half way line.

Italy have started a little better, but they're struggling to deal with Evie Gallagher at the breakdown.

  20. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Italy 7-7 Scotland

We are back under way in Parma!

Scotland dominated large swathes of that first half but have not been clinical at all. Will they do better in this second half?
