Racing had moved upfield gradually, then Antoine Gibert kicked to the left and found his number eight in acres of space. All he had to do was trot over the line and flop down for a simple score.

Bath get away with one deep into the red zone, as Racing's Henry Chavancy intercepts in his own half and races downfield.
The centre feeds Henry Arundell but his kick over the top is hacked off the pitch by Tom de Glanville to bring a breathless first half to an end.

There's a hitch-kick from Gael Fickou as he gets past Ollie Lawrence on the left flank. Lawrence gets back to make amends after missing his first tackle to frustrate Fickou.

Thoroughly deserved try for the hosts as Thomas du Toit barges over from short range after Racing go down to 14 men.

Racing shift the ball to the left from a lineout, then Siya Kolisi brilliantly flips it to Max Spring who seems destined to plunge over the line.
Ben Spencer somehow stops him but the ball finds it way to Nolann Le Garrec, who dives through a mass of bodies for the first try of the day.
