Bath are still a man short, of course, but they do well at a scrum in the Racing 22, getting a penalty that gives them a chance to level.

No problem for the scrum-half, from just to the left with Max Spring holding the tip of the ball for him.

    Bath 0-0 Racing 92

Racing are incisive straight away, getting into the Bath 22 until GJ van Velze comes in from the side to give away a kickable penalty.

Alfie Barbeary is off for 10 minutes rather than for good, it looked very, very high but maybe just under the chin.

    Can Racing take advantage?

  5. Red for Barbeary?published at 5 mins

    Bath 0-0 Racing 92

    Uh-oh.

Alfie Barbeary is in trouble, they are looking at a high tackle on Max Spring. Looks like shoulder into his chin.

    This could be a red.

    Bath 0-0 Racing 92

That's a great take from Tom de Glanville, collecting a rolling kick between his legs and then wriggling through for a piercing run.

    Bath 0-0 Racing 92

The first decent attack from Bath looks promising in the Racing 22, but it ends with a neck roll called against Bath's Tom Dunn.

    Bath 0-0 Racing 92

There's some early kick-tennis, which ends with a Racing kick going dead through the short in-goal area. File under 'error-strewn opening'.

    Bath 0-0 Racing 92

And we are off, with Bath sporting their red kit rather than the blue and white.

Racing kick off to the left, and there's an early error as GJ van Velze spills it. Racing move to the right with Henry Arundell stopped just short of the line by Tom de Glanville.

    Bath v Racing 92 (13:00 GMT)

Bath are a win away from the last 16, but for Racing to be winless so far is a real head-scratcher.

It's a lovely but cold day at the Rec, the teams are on their way out and we are all set!

    Bath v Racing 92 (13:00 GMT)

Of course, one player who absolutely is not a Racing 92 player - yet? - is Owen Farrell. He's been heavily linked with a move from Saracens that Racing have denied, but even without him they look a decent outfit, coached by Farrell's former England coach Stuart Lancaster, who arrived with his squad a short while ago.

He's just one of the boys today, but inevitably the World Cup-winning captain will be a focal point.
