Edinburgh were hard done by as they couldn't get comfortable enough in this game to really make their mark.

Edinburgh need to take their opportunities when they go down to Durban. Sean Everitt knows that place like the back of his hand. He has obviously spent a lot of time down at the Sharks so he'll be wanting to get the boys cohesive, get them together.

He'll be wanting to convert their opportunities when they go to Sharks.

Edinburgh head coach Sean Everitt spoke to Viaplay at full time:

"Obviously we're not happy with the result today, I thought that we would be better than that today. A class Stormers outfit, very accurate in how they execute. Some moments in defence cost us points.

"We only got into the 22 twice in the first half. When we got in twice in the first half we scored so we need to take the positives from that. We also need to be better defensively.

"Every point counts in this competition at the moment. When we score we're three tries away then you knock on the ball. We struggled late in the second half with our set piece but credit to the Stormers. We know they're a good team and we'll go back to the drawing board. "

Player of the match Damian Willemse spoke to Viaplay after the match:

"Really happy with the win obviously. We played really well, created a lot of chances, there were a couple that we butchered but happy with the overall performance.

"I really enjoyed the run out at 15. We all aligned in our plan today so credit to them. We're going into the tough end of the season now and every point counts.

"We played well in the first half, a few butchered opportunities as I said but at half time we spoke about how we need to keep it tight. There's a few things we need to work before we take on Ulster."
