Twenty three-year-old Edinburgh winger Jake Henry makes his professional 15s debut, while veteran WP Nel makes his 200th appearance for the club.

The tighthead prop becomes just the third player to reach the feat, following on from fellow prop Allan Jacobsen and Scotland legend Chris Paterson.

He achieves the milestone in a familiar setting too, starting his professional career at Western Province, who play in Cape Town, 16 years ago.

Meanwhile, Emiliano Boffelli is a late drop out from the team with a back spasm. Wes Goosen moves to fullback, Chris Dean starts on the wing, and James Lang comes onto the bench.

  6. Good afternoon!published at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Stormers v Edinburgh (15:05 KO)

Welcome back, rugby fans, to our URC live.

After Glasgow trudged past Cardiff in the pouring rain and howling wind, we're off to sunnier climbs where Edinburgh take on the Stormers.

The chances of a Scottish victory in this one are far slimmer. The hosts in Cape Town are yet to lose on home turf this season, and Northern Hemisphere sides traditionally struggle down south.

However, Edinburgh were the first side from the north side of the equator to achieve the feat, beating the Sharks in a rain-soaked Durban back in 2022.
