Killie started the second half very lively. Now they look tired and they're being dominated too. I just hope they keep playing at this level even with a man short.

    Rangers 2-0 Kilmarnock

Ten-man Kilmarnock are struggling to contain Rangers now. Alfredo Morelos charges down the left and cuts the ball back looking for Scott Arfield, but it slips away from the midfielder who would have had a tap in.

  5. CLOSE!published at 60 mins

    Rangers 2-0 Kilmarnock

Another chance for a hat-trick for Alfredo Morelos. Glen Kamara's ball through is cut out by Greg Taylor, but the Kilmarnock full-back is bullied off the ball by Morelos, who fires a shot into the side netting. Kilmarnock goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald may just have got a touch on that. It's a goal kick though.

  6. Relentless Morelospublished at 56 mins

    Rangers 2-0 Kilmarnock

Alfredo Morelos just never gives defenders peace. He hassles Gary Dicker inside the Kilmarnock box and looks to have knicked the ball, but a foul is given. The Colombian then latches on to yet another Daniel Candeias cross but he fluffs his lines.

Connor Goldson again gets his head to a Kilmarnock corrner. The visitors have started brightly and won't go down without a fight it seems.

    Rangers 2-0 Kilmarnock

An early foray forward for Kilmarnock results in a corner. But Connor Goldson heads it away for Rangers. They'll need better quality than that if they're to get back into this Kilmarnock.

Taking away the controversy, Rangers have scored two very good goals. Rangers have controlled the match. Both times you're looking for good deliveries as a striker. The first is a slide-rule pass and the other is just an excellent cross from Daniel Candeias.

It's not a fleeting brush of the arm from Joe Worrall. Although there doesn't look as though there's an absolute arm-bar grab, there's enough pressure that he is holding him back. Therefore, I think Eamonn Brophy is well entitled to go down and it should have been a penalty.

The keeper [Daniel Bachmann] doesn't throw his arm for me, that's why I believe it's not a red card. I think he does just give him a little brush with the elbow and it does strike Glen Kamara in the face. But it's not enough for a red card.

  19. HALF-TIME- Rangers 2-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2019

Well, that was an eventful 45 minutes. Alfredo Morelos finished twice from close range after brilliant crosses from Daniel Candeias to put Rangers in cruise control.

In between those goals Kilmarnock had goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann sent off for an elbow on Glen Kamara. Pretty much nothing has gone right for the visitors, who need a miracle to go through now.

Gary Dicker, not being a natural centre-back, is totally focused on the ball. At no time is he opening up his shoulder to see where Alfredo Morelos is. What a delivery - this is gift-wrapped. What way do you want the Mitre sign sitting up for you? Two goals for Morelos inside two yards.
