BBC Two have so much time left that they're showing a re-run of Ronnie O'Sullivan's 5 minute 20 seconds 147 maximum break from 1997. What an incredible effort that was.
Stephen Hendry
Seven time world champion
"Barry Hawkins just seems to be a little intimidated whether it's the atmosphere or everyone is here to see Ronnie O'Sullivan."
Steve Davis
Six time world champion
"O'Sullivan has put in an effective performance but he has been helped by Hawkins missing, even though he took the first frame.
"Hawkins might come out and win the first frame in the evening session and may come back. If he loses it, it will all unravel for him. No-one likes to see a one-sided final. The 9-1 head-to-head score tells its own story."
Ronnie O'Sullivan wins the frame
O'Sullivan's cueball control has been on point, as for Hawkins, hmm. The less said the better about this session.
Easy as you like, a 72 and Ronnie has a six-frame advantage. He's not going to give it away from this position.
Everything is hitting the centre of the pocket as Ronnie strokes the balls in. The "tock" sounds as the balls go in shows how nicely he is cueing.
Aww Barry, another safety attempt goes awry. He slumps back in his chair and shakes his head, he looks crestfallen. Someone needs to give the guy a hug.
O'Sullivan in again, you know what's coming here, don't you?

Tell you what, I wouldn't mind a 10-1 scoreline now to give us all an early night. We'll have that Sunday night feeling where the weekend fun is over and it's back to the graft in the morning.
Another chances goes begging for Barry Hawkins, it's a bit like Liverpool playing against Manchester United on the other screen.
Except there's some scoring in this one.
John Parrott
1991 world champion
"Hawkins was first in but his cueball control was not good enough. He has had some awkward chances but they weren't awkward in that frame. Missing chances in amongst the balls is debilitating."

Ronnie O'Sullivan wins the frame
In goes a red that was on the cushion, a 77 breaks gives O'Sullivan the frame. Insurmountable?
Stroking the balls in with his right hand and if it's a bit difficult to reach, switch to the left. Canadian Alain Robidoux was so angry when O'Sullivan first did that in the 90s, saying it was disrespectful.
It's not, it's the mark of a genius. A couple more pots and Ronnie has this frame wrapped up too.
O'Sullivan's knowledge of the table and angles makes Pythagoras look like a schoolkid, it's a joy seeing him swing the cueball around the cushions to get it back into baulk.
So much pressure being applied to Hawkins now and he's wilting. Another chance for O'Sullivan, who chalks his cue and starts to rev up...
Nope, you have to feel for Hawkins, he's really struggling out there. Only 17.
He needs something to happen to get him going, where's it going to come from though?
You don't expect O'Sullivan to lose from this position now, do you? It's going to need an immense performance from Hawkins to produce something special and turn this match around.
Ronnie misses a long red following the break off and Bazza is in the reds around the black.

Steve Davis
Six-time world champion
"Hawkins needs some help from the run of the balls and from O’Sullivan. When you miss a shot, some days it goes safe, some it doesn’t. It is an uphill struggle now."
Stephen Hendry
Seven-time world champion
"Hawkins is just not getting any easy chances, things aren't falling into place for him. That was a scrappy frame but Ronnie is getting the best of them.
"O'Sullivan is just doing enough to keep Barry at bay."
