Bish! Bosh! Bop! Bash! That was a game that should have come with Adam-West era Batman caption on screen.

Jo Wilfried Tsonga blasts through to love in doublequick time. Is it all in vain though with Novak Djokovic to serve for the set next?

    Jimmy Connors
Two-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV

On Andy Murray's decision to add a woman to his coaching team in Amelie Mauresmo: "It's not important, it's about what someone offers and how quickly you can catch on to that and if that comes from a woman then so be it."

  3. Postpublished at 19:37 British Summer Time 30 June 2014

Novak Djokovic consolidates his break with a solid hold, topped off with a kicking serve out wide. Tsonga's block return loops long and wide.

Mike Henson on this one by the way, not Tom Fordyce. Just for the sake of the lawyers you understands.

BBC Sport's Sam Sheringham on Court One

"Having been on the ropes in his last service game, Dimitrov responds with a sucker punch. A drilled backhand pass earns him a break of serve. He then holds to love to move within two games of the last eight."

  5. Djokovic breakspublished at 19:34 British Summer Time 30 June 2014

Novak Djokovic has locked onto his prey. He is well on the track of the Jo-Wilfried Tsonga serve as the top seed tears his way to 0-40 and three break point.

Tsonga saves the first with a brave press to the net, the second is wasted by Djokovic as he returns a second serve into the net.

But the third is the charm. Tsonga clumps long and rocks his head back in disbelief.

That might be the difference between these two. Tsonga's best is right up there, but it is a far more timid animal, staying hidden for most of the match.

BBC Sport's Sam Sheringham on Court One

"Dimitrov is being pushed hard by Mayer, a player who had only once got past the first round at Wimbledon in four previous attempts. After serving two double faults, the Bulgarian saves two break points to hold serve and level up at 2-2 in the third set."

Jo-Wilfired Tsonga occasionally gets pegged as a Muhammad Ali lookalike. Don't see it myself.

Which is a shame because otherwise I could make some reference to him looking for the knockout blow as he thumps a down-the-line forehand at 30-15 down.

It is long though and he returns to his stool still on serve.

Another top seed goes in the shape of Agnieszka Radwanska. The fourth seed Pole has been beaten in straight sets by Russian Ekaterina Makarova.

Radwanska was the highest seed left in the bottom half of the draw, but that mantle now sits on the shoulders of former champion Petra Kvitova.

Third seed Simona Halep and fifth seed Maria Sharapova are both in the top half of the draw.

Adam Pinder-Smith: , externalWell played Andy Murray - good win and through just before my tea as well.

Adam Todd:, external Yes Andy! Got a real test in that set. Passed with flying colours!

Saiqa Shaheen:, external YESSS Andy continues his excellent tennis, hasn't dropped a set yet and through to the QF.

Jo Wilfried Tsonga's serve looks like it has spent the past month pumping iron and eating egg whites. A far beefy proposition to the weakling that was flopping and failing around at Roland Garros.

A pumped-up ace wins the first point, a strong-arm bit of old-school serve-volley takes the last, with Djokovic winning only one in between.

Djokovic is sneaking in closer to the baseline during the rallies though. Jo-Wily could do with keeping the exchanges short and sharp.

That was almost Isner-Karlovic the way the first three games crumbled there.

Six minutes on the clock and only one point taken against the head.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga returns the favour with a hold to love.

Tsonga was a man inspired when he clambered back from two sets down to fell Roger Federer in five sets on this stage back in 2011. Is that mojo still lurking in the stands somewhere?

  13. Brit Watchpublished at 19:17 British Summer Time 30 June 2014

BBC Sport's Phil Shepka at Wimbledon: The junior events are in full swing and we have had British progress in the form of national number one Katie Boulter from Leicester.

The 17-year-old, coached by former British men's number one Jeremy Bates, defeated Austria's 13th seed Priscilla Hon 6-3 6-3 on court 11 to set up a second-round tie with France's Margot Yerolymos.

But other Brits could not replicate her success, with defeats coming for Jamie Malik in the boys' singles and Freya Christie and Harriet Dart in the girls' tournament - Dart's loss especially heart-breaking having resumed the day's play 6-2 5-5 ahead.

Novak Djokovic suffered a heavy fall in his win over Jo-Wilfired Tsonga's fellow Frenchman Gilles Simon in the last round. Will it affect him today under the Centre Cot ceiling?

Doesn't look like it. The top seed wraps up the opening game to love with popping power on the forehand.

Djokovic absolutely thumped Tsonga in front of his home fans at the French Open earlier this year. Can Tsonga make it at least closer this time around?

Leonardo Mayer slumps to his knees after a double fault hands the second set tie-break to Grigor Dimitrov on a half-full Court One. The dashing Bulgarian is one set away from a quarter-final meeting with Andy Murray on Wednesday.

  17. Player reactionpublished at 19:12 British Summer Time 30 June 2014

On whether it was an advantage to play against someone he practises against: "I'm not sure. Some days you get lucky, some days you don't, some days you guess right or wrong, thankfully today I picked the right ones."

On the support of the Centre Court crowd: "I am trying to stay concentrated on the court and I don't worry about everything else that's happening outside, but when you play in front of a big crowd like this you raise your intensity and it helps you in a big way."

  19. Reaction to Murray winpublished at 19:09 British Summer Time 30 June 2014

    Jimmy Connors
Two-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV

"Murray's gone about his business very nicely, as he has said everyone is playing good, but he will have to lift his game, no doubt. The competition will get tougher, but he knows what it takes to win here, and he will have to lift it further to play Wimbledon championship tennis."

  20. Murray reactionpublished at 19:08 British Summer Time 30 June 2014

On reaching the last eight: "All of the matches now are tough, all of the players the quarter-finals of a Grand Slam are top 10 players but all I can do is concentrate on my game and if I can play well then I will make it tough for them.

"It's obviously good to get off in straight sets and I can now rest up get ready the quarter-finals but I don't know what is going to happen with the other matches."
