    Murray is on court a tad earlier than expected, but Haase hasn't been caught snoozing, winning two of the opening three points for a 15-30 lead. It's a beautiful afternoon in Queens and Murray has gone native, wearing a baseball cap to keep the sun's rays from his eyes.

    The Scot steps in to screw a backhand volley beyond his opponent for a 40-30 lead and seals the deal with a punchy first serve down the 'T' which the Dutchman returns into the net.
