    *Isner 6-7 (9-11) 1-2 Murray

...out of nowhere Isner forces deuce. Well, I say out of nowhere...largely thanks to Murray inexplicably double-faulting at 40-30. Murray's service winner is met by a call for himself to 'Fire up' - which is curiously met by a few boos from the Paris crowd. It works though, Murray slamming down another sizzling serve which Isner can't control.

    Isner 6-7 (9-11) 1-1 Murray

"Ooooh! Aaaah!" The excitement levels inside Lenglen reach rollercoaster-style proportions as Andy Murray scrambles across the baseline, somehow keeping the second point alive. In the middle of all that drama, Isner mashes a forehand long - much to his own disbelief. Murray's 30-15 lead quickly becomes 40-15 with a crunching backhand. And then...

    Isner 6-7 (9-11) 1-1 Murray*

Isner is looking as miserable as the Paris skies. He knows he blew a golden chance in that first set. With body language similar to a child who has just been told he is grounded for a week, Isner sloppily allows Murray to lead 15-0. But the American - almost semi-consciously - pulls out his biggest weapon, an ace. That kicks him into life and a hold.

No sign of any imminent rain. Let's crack on. Murray to open the second set, which he does with relative ease. The British number one holds to 15, now can he chip away at Isner?

"The backhand when Murray was facing his first set point was the key for me. It was extremely tough to execute but he did it superbly.

"The match is not over yet because Isner is really playing well. Isner served as we expected but he's playing well from the back too.

"However, he's thrown the kitchen sink at Murray but is still a set down. Can he play any better than that? I would doubt it."

Wow. Time to catch your breath back. Although let's be careful what we wish for....huge dark clouds are dominating the Parisian skyline. Anyone up for a rain dance?

Isner to serve, Murray has another break opportunity...

He's got it! Isner shuffles along for an inside forehand - he doesn't trust his backhand - and that finds the tramlines. A huge roar from Murray! That's what you call digging deep.

"Isner is causing Murray all kinds of problems. Murray has made a couple of errors but that's because he's being put under intense pressure."

Mini-break intact. A big serve to the Isner backhand comes back, but it lacks juice as Murray bounds on to the ball to smack down a forehand winner.
