  1. Covers on Centrepublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 2 July 2016

    Well, that was predictable.

As soon as the roof is rolled back and black cloud comes skidding onto the scene and dumps some spitting rain on the main stage.

The lesser-spotted Centre Court covers get an airing to groans.

Novak Djokovic holds to love but, more importantly, the umbrellas are starting to appear.

Radios and walkie talkies go off as the officials discuss whether the players need to go off.

    We wait. Again.

The Wimbledon officials are daring to cheek the gods of fate and weather.

The roof is being rolled back on Centre Court.

The sun is shining at the moment, but that is no guarantee of anything frankly.

It's so rare to see Djokovic make an unforced error on a break point, certainly at an important stage like this.

Simona Halep on BBC One: "I'm really excited that I'll play the fourth round, it's one of my special Grand Slams. it was amazing today, I played good tennis and I'm happy I could win in two sets. She serves really well, very strong, and I was able to return very strong. I played smart and aggressive today and I really liked that the court was indoor."

    *Djokovic 6-7 1-6 6-3 0-0 Querrey

Novak Djokovic is pushing hard on Sam Querrey's serve.

At 30-30, Querrey swipes into the net and Djokovic earns break point but then the Serb overcooks a return past the baseline. Deuce.

Then Querrey goes long with a backhand to give the world number one the advantage and a second break point...which disappears.

Advantage Djokovic again...but he's still not able to break.

  10. Millman v Murray next up on Centrepublished at 14:40 British Summer Time 2 July 2016

Right, as Simona Halep and Kiki Bertens head off the court, somewhere in the plush corridors of the All England Club pavilion Andy Murray is twitching and stretching.

His opponent today? One John Millman of Australia.

The Millman does not always deliver though. In nine meetings with top-20 players, he has won just one - a victory over Tommy Robredo at Wimbledon last year.

He has never been beyond the third round of a Grand Slam.

No matter that Djokovic hung on to win the fourth set, Querrey is back in his mighty groove - groundstrokes ripping, serve like the hammer of Thor. A contest that changes with the weather takes another turn.

    Tracy Austin
Former Wimbledon mixed doubles champion on BBC TV

Halep has played very offensively today, instinctively she relies on her defence and she has to force herself to go out of her comfort zone. It's always special to make it to the second week of a Grand Slam. She played extremely well.

Simona Halep has chiseled, prised and finally has topped the Netherlands' Kiki Bertens.

It will be Alize Cornet of France or American ninth seed Madison Keys next for the Romanian.

Maybe the latest rain break has helped Sam Querrey this time?

The American earns break point and takes the game after Djokovic's forehand lands the wrong side of the whitewash.

You would assume this set remains beyond the world number 41, but it's a decent restart.

Oh heck, Sam Querrey launches a massive serve towards Novak Djokovic but almost hits an unsuspecting line judge. She doesn't flinch, and that's very impressive.

Querrey serves a huge ace to hold to love, and avoids causing any injury.

Simona Halep is small of stature, but big of power. She swings freely and socks big forehands right out of the middle of the bat.

Kiki Bertens keeps her at bay for another game at least though.

We are indeed back under way on Court One, where world number one Novak Djokovic is attempting to undo last night's problems.

He's two sets down against American Sam Querrey, but has now raced into a 5-0 lead in the third.

The Serb is possibly the only person in SW19 who has been grateful for the rain.
