Shuffling down the side of Court 19 was a tricky job this morning. Crowds of about three deep were peering over the side.

Had a decent singles match been moved on to there early doors? Nope. Everyone was trying to grab a glimpse of Tim Henman. That's him - the four-time Wimbledon semi-finalist - stood behind the baseline with his hands on hips.

The former British number one was gently knocking balls down to loads of excitable tennis-mad youngsters who were pumping them back. And one or two did creep past him. He's not as quick as he used to be...

Saturday was always going to be a busy one. The stewards have handed out ticket number 10,000 and the people waiting at the back of  The Queue on Wimbledon Park have been told it's one in, one out. They could have a long wait ahead.

By the way, if you flick to BBC Two quickly you can catch Talking Tennis, including a 21-year-old Andy Murray chatting on the Jonathan Ross show while sporting some shaggy hair and open neck shirt.

    Actually, he's just finished.

Have a look on iPlayer. I think there is hint more Scottish burr in there and bit less media training.

BBC Weather's Ben Rich: "There’ll be some good spells of sunshine at Wimbledon today. We can’t rule out a few occasional showers but the breeze should blow these through fairly quickly – so hopefully any interruptions should be brief!"

Some sort of sun salute from the Wimbledon ground staff here.

Of course that could all swap around in a matter of hours, particularly if Andy Murray gets into strife in his own match.

He is taking on Australian John Millman in the second match on Centre Court.

Murray has never lost a Tour level match to an Australian. Which makes the Fanatics very sad.

Novak Djokovic's predicament means that Andy Murray - possibly for the first time in his career - is the bookies' favourite for the Wimbledon title.

The British number one is just a shade ahead of Djokovic at the top of the blackboards, generally available at 13/8 compared to the Serb's 7/4.

  13. Djokovic's record of recoverypublished at 10:27 British Summer Time 2 July 2016

Novak Djokovic has walked the the longest route to victory a few times before.

And against better players than Querrey.

He has won in five sets after losing the first two four times in his career, beating Andreas Seppi at Roland Garros in 2012, Roger Federer at the US Open in 2011, Guillermo Garcia Lopez at Wimbledon 2005 as well as Anderson last year at the All England Club.

Two sets down to a big-serving opponent on Court One in a rain-affected match?

Novak Djokovic has been here before, and recently.

Last year the Serb seemed to have been painted into a corner by South African Kevin Anderson's bazooka tee-off.

But, in a match that spanned two days, he recovered to win  6-7 (6-8) 6-7 (6-8) 6-1 6-4 7-5 and go on and lift the title.

The world number one will resume on Court One trailing American Sam Querrey by two sets to love.

And it is not just the situation that worries the Nole posse. The limp concession of the second set - folding out 6-1 - was most unlike their man.

After a night's rest, a debrief and a rethink with Boris, can he rise to keep alive his dream of a clean sweep of 2016's majors?

    The match resumes at midday.

Four straight Grand Slam titles. The undisputed kingpin of the men's game. And perilously close to becoming victim to one of the most seismic shocks in Wimbledon history.

Novak Djokovic is staring into the void this morning.
