Murray 2-1 Kyrgios*
* Murray 1-1 Kyrgios
Murray with a chance for 0-30, but Kyrgios chases down a drop-volley in a blur of skinny limbs and Murray can only flick the lob wide. Thunderous serving from the Aussie, and he's at level pegs. A most promising series of early thrusts.
V Williams 7-6 5-3 *Suarez Navarro
Five-time champ Venus Williams has not been to the Wimbledon quarter-finals since 2010.
She looks set to book in for a last-eight meeting with Yaroslava Shvedova though after breaking Carla Suarez Navarro in the second.
Murray 1-0 Kyrgios*
Murray 1-0 Kyrgios *
Giddy applause from the well-oiled punters as the two men stride away like white-shirted duelists. Murray in a cap. Krygios prefering the towelling headband once favoured by another Centre Court wild-child. Slingy ace down the middle from Murray, and then a series of cagey, defensive, slice-heavy exchanges. Another ace to the same spot, up and running.

Kyrgios' serve is really good and like Roger Federer he plays so fast that you don't have chance to get set and he gets on a roll and it all happens so quick.

Murray has never been in the situation in the second week of a Grand Slam when he has been the favourite for the tournament.

I think Murray is at the peak performance of his life. It is whether he can keep it together. He had a great clay court season, he's serving big and is playing fantastic tennis.
Four tour-level meetings between these two, and four wins for Andy Murray. The Briton to serve first. Shall we?
Tomic 4-6 6-4 6-3 2-1 *Pouille
Over on court 12 there is another Australian wildchild in action with Bernard Tomic - who made the Wimbledon quarters as a qualifier in 2011 - is two sets to one up on France's Lucas Pouille.

Murray v Kyrgios
Here come the combatants, and a Centre Court crowd slightly stiff-limbed and fuzzy headed after an afternoon glued to Roger and Serena stand and stretch. Ivan Lendl in the players' box, a brief smile before his face returns to carved marble.

Kyrgios and Bernard Tomic take up exclusively the tennis headlines in Australia.
You are not sure what will happen but he is unbelievably talented, has all the shots and fire power. You think he should be winning Grand Slams but implodes a lot.

It is unusual preparation for a match but everyone has their methods to keep loose.
Kyrgios was down on Court 18 about an hour and a half ago taking in fellow Australian Lleyton Hewitt's doubles match.
*Gofffin 6-4 6-3 4-6 2-2 Raonic
David Goffin has the axe hovering over sixth seed Milos Raonic out on court two.
We are still on serve in the fourth, but the Raonic tee-off is looking far from insurmountable.
Roof over Centre, if you haven't been with us all afternoon. It's not raining out there, but there are clouds loitering with menace. Players on their way from the locker-room.
Earlier: Murray's opponent sat & watched some tennis
Bishop Yinkus: That could be massive mind games from Nick Kyrgios, looking very relaxed and chill. He must have known secret of Murray weakness.
