Jamie Murray says winning is a "great feeling".

"These tournaments are the hardest to win," says the Scot. "I've got a great partner in Bruno who makes a lot of returns for me and long may it continue."

Patrick McEnroe informs the Briton that the pair have something in common, siblings who are quite good at tennis and McEnroe says the older Murray has achieved something Murray hasn't - winning two Grand Slams in the same year.

"It's nice to start to move out of the shadows a little bit," says Murray. "But there's a long way to go."

A stellar year for this pair.

That was mighty impressive, they made that look simple.

It was just a very efficient, no nonsense performance.

    *Murray/Soares 6-2 6-3 Carreno Busta/Garcia-Lopez

Two opening points to Murray, two points closer to the title. Soares and Murray form a defensive wall at the net, no way through and the impatient Carreno Busta goes long. A point away from victory, and Murray serves out in style. Boom! Brilliant! Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares - the US Open and Australian Open champions.

    Murray/Soares 6-2 5-3 Carreno Busta/Garcia-Lopez*

Garcia-Lopez charged with keeping him and his team-mate in this match. The Spaniards nick the opening point, which must ease the nerves. At 30-0 the Spanish duo seem at ease, but Garcia-Lopez throws up a double fault - his third of the match - and in a blink of an eye Murray and Soares are level at 30-30. But there is to be no break, the Spaniards hold on -  Jamie Murray will serve for the match, for the title.

    Murray/*Soares 6-2 5-2 Carreno Busta/Garcia-Lopez

Soares and Murray combining beautifully at the net, cat-like reflexes from the Scot to take himself and Soares to within a point of holding. A comfortable hold for the Brazilian. Murray and Soares a game away from the title.

    Murray/Soares 6-2 4-2 *Carreno Busta/Garcia-Lopez

Carreno Busta must address the problems he's had with his serve in this match, and do so promptly, if he and Garcia-Lopez are to drag this match into a third set. At 30-30 he's not convincing. At deuce Soares and Murray's eyes light up. Carreno Busta holds on, though - Garcia-Lopez with a punchy forehand to Murray's toes, while Soares nets on the next point.

    *Murray/Soares 6-2 4-1 Carreno Busta/Garcia-Lopez

Carreno Busta sets off on a monologue as he makes his way back to the baseline after getting the better of Murray with a driving forehand into the Scot's toes. Pumped. At 30-30 is there hope? Not really, Murray mixes up his serve - canny - to stretch their lead.

    Murray/Soares 6-2 3-1 Carreno Busta/Garcia-Lopez*

Garcia-Lopez must hold serve otherwise his hopes of winning this doubles title will be toast. At deuce it's uncertain which way this game will swing, Garcia-Lopez guiding a tricky volley wide, allowing his opponents to level at 40-40. But hold is eventually what Garcia-Lopez does, though he and Carreno Busta are still up against it.

    Murray/*Soares 6-2 3-0 Carreno Busta/Garcia-Lopez

It feels like victory is a foregone conclusion for Murray and Soares, unless Carreno Busta and Garcia-Lopez can muster a magnificent comeback, which seems improbable on this form. The unseeded duo do their best, Soares' serve rocking at 30-40 - but the fourth seeds dig deep to level at deuce and ultimately hold with ease. The favourites cantering towards the finishing line.
