Murray is serving like a demon now - talk about a swing in momentum - he wins his eighth straight point to win his service game to love. Wow!

He's playing like he's the world number one...

Tim Henman on when Murray pulled it back from a set and 3-0 down against Raonic to win the Queen's final earlier this year:

"He's got to draw on those positive memories to keep the belief that he can turn it around."

That tension Raonic was supposed to be feeling earlier, well... it's back.

It's 0-40 and Murray takes the first break point with a stinging forehand that almost snaps Raonic's wrist at the net.

Really, really didn't see that coming. Murray pulls out the fist pump.

Murray loses yet another challenge. When was the last time he won one?

It's 0-15. The Scot pulls a great backhand from the back out of the bag which just dips over the net.

Raonic is once again imposing himself on Murray's service game though. The Canadian stays in the point during a long rally - not looking for the winner - the world number one makes the unforced error this time.

It's another break point for Raonic.

Murray saves by coming out on top in a toe-to-toe with Raonic at the net. Gutsy.

But it's another break point for Raonic. This time the Canadian seals it after Murray again fails to mount the net with his forehand.

The 25-year-old looks in total control.

The Montenegro-born Canadian makes his first double fault of the match - it's deuce. Interesting.

BBC commentator Andrew Castle suggests "tension".

Cripes! Break point - didn't see that coming as Raonic strikes the net with his forehand.

Murray wastes the opportunity with a forehand from the back - he seemed slightly off balance as he struck the ball.

Another break point for Murray, after Raonic attempts a reconstruction of his earlier error.

Yet again, the Dunblane Dynamo snatches at it as his backhand finds the middle of the net.

This is another long and tense game....

It really isn't clicking for Murray.

He was imperious against Wawrinka, but against Raonic his first serves are poor and his play at the net has been found wanting.

One such mistake, on his backhand at the net sees Raonic move 30-15 ahead.

Two good passing shots sees him recover to 40-15 before another error at the net sees the Canadian pull it to deuce.

A quick glimpse at Andy's mother Judy, shows a slightly worried figure.

But her son eventually holds. Again, points won on his first serve are only at 52%

The Canadian is matching Murray with sliced backhands, which you think would trouble someone who is 6ft 5in.

He has three set points. He makes an error with a backhand.

    Two set points.

Murray wins a long rally following great variation in his groundstrokes which be bedazzles the Canadian.

    One set point.

Raonic finally takes it with a great first serve.

Murray finally serves his first ace of the match - again, we must remember that Raonic has the wingspan of a giant eagle, or something.

Error after error is creeping into Murray's groundstrokes. Raonic has two break points.

The world number one hands him the break with a double fault - that's no surprise.

Murray's first serves have been woeful - they're at 58% and he's been winning only 54% of points on them.

    This set is Raonic's. Surely.

This would be a good time for the Scot to break Raonic's serve - but in all fairness, the Canadian hasn't shown any weaknesses yet.

A looping and spinning backhand from Murray is too long and sees Raonic hold again.

It's hard to split these two.

  16. 'Murray's second serve is getting him out of jail'published at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2016

    Piers Newbery
    BBC Sport in London

"We're all living in a Murray Wonderland!" according to two angelically voiced ladies nearby. Not sure Raonic feels the same way.

The Canadian has had plenty of chances but it's Murray's second serve, so long held up as a major weakness, that is getting him out of jail. So far, Murray has won an eye-popping 14 of 16 points behind his supposed weaker delivery.

Murray finally holds after Raonic's goes for a wide forehand winner, but puts too much on it.

That was tough for the Scot - a 13 minute-long service game was it?

    Oh dear!

A time violation warning for Murray from chair umpire Damien Dumusois - they've got 'time' previous (look at 14:03 entry).

That appears to affect the Scot's concentration. It's break point for Raonic after Murray fails with another challenge when the Canadian's return is declared 'in'.

Murray saves break point for the second time by coming to the net.

But Raonic has another break point after Murray's forehand is ruled out after another challenge - he has no more challenges remaining.

He SAVES AGAIN with a brilliant top spin passing shot.

Guess what? Break point number three after Murray finds the middle of the net.

Murray resorts to his good ol' friend - the long rally - and saves once more as Raonic's return from the back is that bit too long.

    To be continued...

Shrieks of "No!" from Murray who should have placed a bit more bite on a return which Raonic gobbled up. Chances to win points on the big Canadian's serve are hard to come by at the moment.

The 25-year-old, who resides in Monte Carlo, holds his fourth service game when Murray's return creeps an inch or two past the baseline.
